That’s because the cameras are not the same distance from the truck in both pictures.

in order for the scale to be the same the camera has to be exactly in the same position for both.

Also the line on the front door is off. It doesn’t line up in the same position with the door, pillar, windshield, or wheel well. That shows the scale is off.

Well, all I am going to say is the new Tundra is such a disappointment, I ordered a new Ford Maverick today. After all, it has a higher payload and better fuel economy. That's all that matters right?

Yeah, the spec sheet shows it is available, but everything else we’ve seen says it’s not. I believe that spec sheet has some inaccuracies. But I too wish the Platinum got the TRD Off-road so I wouldn’t mind being wrong.

Not trolling, we think the PDF is wrong, we think that dot is supposed to be on the 1794 edition. Several reviewers have had the 1794 with the TRD off-road package, which the PDF says is not available.

Edit: I just looked at the spec sheet it has it on the 1794... maybe it was the 4X4 limited that reviewers had the off-road package on that the spec sheet doesn't have it.

probably a typo. There was a Canadian dealer spec sheet posted somewhere and it was not an option. Might be a geographical difference but most likely just an error as a 1794 (which it is offered on) is considered a platinum in Toyota speak

Just downloaded the new one from the pressroom site, it still kind of contradicts itself, up top it doesn't have it listed for the Platinum, but down below where it has the the S,P,O, laid out it still has the O for the platinum. I'm leaning towards that O should be in the limited column instead.

If it is true then I would be a happy man. I actually like the black chrome grille of the standard platinum so I’d be disappointed to lose that, but I’d love the rear diff lock, which in my opinion should be standard on every bloody pick up in 2022. The shows and crawl control would also be somewhat appreciate for where I hunt but really it would be that rear diff locker for me.

I wonder if we'll get pricing and EPA ratings for the hybrid on Tundra Tuesday on this Tuesday the 26th. I believe they said both of those will be available at the end of the month.

Scroll back some in here and people that have asked the Toyota reps with the trucks have been told that pricing won't be announced until the trucks are just about hitting lots at the end of the year (as in December).

For pricing Toyota social media manager, dealers and Toyota field reps have said December from what I’ve seen and been told.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this were accurate given the reveal so far.

I've also been told and gathered consensus from the aforementioned group that there really is no customer orders for the initial run of the 22 models. It's dealer allocation from Toyota and they will just offer those on the reservation list as they come available.

this roll out has been a joke.

chasing info all over from YouTube reviews, typos in the spec sheets that were released.

considering these things are said to be in dealer lots in a little over 30 days (December), there really should be more info out by now.

cough up with the pricing and specs toyota.

The spec sheet being wrong is a joke. Releasing with initial mistakes, ok. But it's been edited and corrected a few times, and is still wrong...........like how .

Limited TRD Off Road price revealed? (maybe?)

Saw this Bassmasters ad for a new gen Tundra sweepstake on Instagram
    [IMG]
The picture shows a TRD Pro, but the description says "TRD Off Road" so I extremely highly doubt that. They don't say the trim level, but NASCAR is also doing a sweepstake and their grand prize is a Limited TRD Off Road. I doubt they'd give away an SR5, and nothing as high as a Platinum, 1794, or Pro so that basically eliminates everything but the Limited, which makes sense because it is a mid-grade trim level.

Down below in smaller print, they also said, they'd give the winner a $1,200 card for gas. 56.2k - 1.2k = 55k

So $55,000 for a loaded 4x4 Limited TRD Off Road . . . what do you think?

I think we’re all collectively chasing our tails on the pricing front. People have brought up the MSRP in other sweepstakes earlier in the thread and I think the pricing and verbiage was similar.

Of course but the dealership is doing lifts as well so they squeak it threw warranty to keep the customer happy. When it starts to get complicated watch how quickly the dealership will drop you like a hot potato when Toyota corporate rejects the warranty claims.

So I’ve read about 450 pages so sorry if it has been covered…

Is it possible to get a color matched grill and surround on the 1794 or platinum?
My dealer just called me and let me know they got their allocation, but I can’t figure that one out.

I'm really new here. Lot of passion on these boards. I joined because I think the new Tundra looks amazing.
I'm getting soured by all the negativity.
