I thought the same thing but have now decided it may be a typo on that sheet.

So did we get slower 0-60 times and worse departure/approach and ground clearance?

horsepower doesn’t exist, It’s an equation made up to explain industrialization to farmers. Really what you want to know is how much torque there is and where it is in the rev range. Torque Lower in the rev range is better for towing and other heavy duty applications.

    “Horsepower = Torque x RPM / 5,252”

HP is for high rpm, torque is for get up and go

And to add— not sure but it looked like a double cab was pulling the airstream… could be wrong though.

I know that is a baby airstream trailer but still a decent amount of air resistance and getting 15 mpgs towing it, I will take that. I barely get that without towing and 10 mpgs towing a 7000 lbs travel trailer is decent too. I get 11-12 pulling a 19 foot bassboat.

Major takeaways for me at least—

It's been on two videos now that there is an actual cooler sandwiched on the passenger side down low and that it is hard to see but is there.

Have they released ground clearance yet....they still look low to me. I know this gen is giving up articulation to the last gen, but I have been trying to find ground clearance comparisons and haven't been able to find that figure yet.

    Thanks,

Interesting that you have to get the hybrid to get the max ground clearance....all the trims with the standard powertrain have low clearance, so it wasn't just an optical illusion. It looks like the turning radius is larger on the new one, and I believe the departure and approach angles are a bit worse too.

So far a lot of the specs except for MPG/Towing/payload the outgoing model has it beat. I guess it tracks with what they were building it for.

Anyone know if that Air Dam thing that takes away 3 or more inches of ground clearance automatically retracts at a certain speed or can you hit a button to get rid of it? I know some of the systems on other vehicles have that feature.

It's only deployed at highway speeds. Not sure what speed that is, but it should be retracted at low speeds.
