I hope I am wrong also, but something tells me that is accurate. Suppliers have been barking and tired of being squeezed, not just Toyota either....

I know it is upper trim, but 2500 HD Denali's that are 3-4 years old and 90k plus miles are selling for $60k plus........

The yellow sticker is the real payload. it includes all factory installed options and will reduce above payloads.

Not that it’s a huge improvement, but Andre from TFL did the 0-60 in 6.8s in the TRD pro.

keeping in mind Ford’s well documented history of fudging their payload/towing numbers, I wouldn’t be shocked if their 0-60 times were just as “accurate”.

probably pushed it out the back of a plane for their test

(relax f150 owners, ‘twas a joke)

The spec sheet says otherwise right now. I think we are hoping it is a misprint like no TRD Offroad option for Limited 4x4. Spec sheets have been wrong before!

Hom much does a comparable Ford Powerboost in Platinum/King Ranch/Limited trim cost?

How much does a Ram Limited 1500 with option cost?

How much is a GMC 1500 Dierra Denali?

At this rate I'm planning on swapping in another engine, tranny, or frame. Whichever goes first! Never selling this truck now.

Yeah I understand that, I was just asking because the document you posted Toyota states that the max payload for a 4x4 crew cab is 1,810-1,885 lbs. I'm surprised that a stripped limited could be that high honestly. I guess they're referring to a SR or SR5.

Having maximum torque 405 lb ft torque @ 2000RPM and maximum 348HP at 2400RPM with a gas engine would work well towing my 4900 pound travel trailer

Man you better watch saying that in here, I got chastised for saying the double cab we looking like it would offer less room then the current gen. Looks like that's what it will turn out to be though, including the crew Max losing a little room as well.

Not to worry. It says it right on the spec sheet you posted in brackets (Crewmax only).

There’s been lots of videos online that have been showing the SR5 Crewmax with the power vertical rear window. It’s there, just in the Crewmax not the DC, same as 2 and 2.5 Gen.

A Chevy 1500 in WT trim, double cab/standard bed, comes in at $41,800 MSRP. That is the ugly rubber interior, no frills as basic as you can get with a little 2.7 or 4.3 V6 and comparable to an SR.

Sadly enough the SR, has more features and is much nicer.

I don't like the prices either, but the world we live in.

Well the King Ranch and Platinum are in the mid 60s MSRP. Limited is the only one that crosses the $70k mark.

The only Ram that crosses the $70k mark is the Raptor, and most other trims are at lower than $60k.

Denali's are in the mid 60s range as well for MSRP.

All manufactures also have entry points in the low 30s which is nowhere near the $40k mark you're claiming. You're dealer buddy is wrong and off by at least $5k across all trims. Wait and see.

The "-" means that option is not available in that trim though. Yes, we see/know its only on the crewmax. Thats why right above it it has double cab only in brackets for the small slider. DC gets small slider. Crewmax gets vertical slider (trim dependent per spec sheet).

We have seen the SR5 with it in videos so that is why we think it was an error in the spec sheet. It still makes us all wonder though.

Did you miss the part where they said it was showing Prius levels of MPG but they couldn't tell if it was accurate because the whole system is pre-production and was acting different?

Thats like 40MPG. Must be a very narrow sample window to get that average.

I believe they did mention in that video that the EV mode can kick in on the highway? I was surprised to hear that.

Yeah I think it just proves that the entire dash numbers are still wonky and we shouldn't put any weight into them at all. It's nearly full and showing less 400 miles of range, and we know the tank size is 32 gallons so quick napkin math is estimating 12 mpg. That's obviously way off.

I'm lost? 632km is 392.7 miles. 392.7 divided by 32 gallons (tanks size) is 12.25mpg?

In Canadialand fuel is calculated liters per 100KM so you can convert that to MPG.

Pretty common with hybrids. My Camry Hybrid can coast in EV mode on the Highway and I can keep it there by feathering the throttle, but only for a very short period.
