Love the painted fender flares and grill surround. I don't understand why the higher end models don't have them. I hope it's an option to order that way.

I'm not sure, I don't think they lowered them more than stock in the past but I am not well versed on the sport packages for any of the models.

Sport gonna have 20" rims plus the chin. Can't get decent offroad tires on 20"rims. You can swap out wheels as you please though. Plenty of wheel choices and you can probably sell the Sport wheels on Craigslist.

Yup, I'd be looking for something brighter than black and 18".

Wouldn't that kind of defeat the purpose of the package. (Offroad tires and Sport). You can get a pretty good selection of 20 inch offroad tires these days, a lot of HD trucks have 20' rims. I had no issue finding all terrains or mud tires for my Ram 2500 and it had 20 inch rims.

Agreed, the TRD Sport looks the best by FAR...however I don't want a lowered truck with no rear locker, street tires and a street tuned suspension system. I certainly hope the monochromatic look (NO CHROME) will be an option on TRD Off Roads. ...however I doubt it it looks like Toyota is taking the same packaging approach as the Tacoma. I like that on Ford F-150's the Sport package is strictly an appearance package it doesn't change the off road goodies.

Looks like Toyota has an event for the Tundra in San Antonio based on some of the pictures posted on YouTube. The event looks to be taking place at Landrace restaurant and El Tropicano Riverwalk hotel.

I have a 2018 Sport and it's not lowered. Dumb idea to lower it. I've gone back and forth on the 20" wheels.

It'd be weird for a 4WD to be lowered, most information is against it due to driveaxle angles

The sport is meant as a on road truck. The off road is meant as a off road truck. It makes sense to lower the sport and raise the off road. Why anyone would want 20” wheels over 18” is beyond me. Car guys I guess.

Which really makes me wonder, especially in the case of a "street truck" why tf would they have 4x4 instead of AWD?

Just received an email for this sweepstakes. They definitely used the new TRD Pro for the picture.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t 4x4 more durable, stronger and cheaper then AWD? Toyota wants to be affordable and dependable after all.

Nissan ATESSA AWD/4WD systems are extremely reliable, if crappy Nissan can do it, so could Toyota.

If it was true they wouldn't be able to make enough of them and the price would go up anyway because of demand

That would match the cost predictions that have been around 55-60k. Don’t pay to much attention to all the guys on here assuming they will be 75k.

I have been saying this truck won't get to 75k and if does the people buying at 75k have lost their minds! Supply chain will catch up maybe sooner than later and when it does we will see car lots full again

Agreed. I can get an 800hp Rivian for $73k and then get a $7500 rebate on my taxes
