They look roughly the same size as the 2021 Pro Rims which are too narrow IMO. I know Toyota is offering a 3 inch lift as a dealer option, but since the Pro already has a lift standard it will be interesting to see if you can add 3 more inches to it or not (I'm thinking no).

I'm loving them on the GX 470. They compliment it well.

I understand that not all of you would use the generator. I'm fine with that. My frustration is that Toyota could have added it with a minimal amount of effort. I didn't expect it to be standard. I expected to pay extra. Did I expect to use it often? No. But that's the point of owning a generator. You keep it and maintain it for when you're not expecting to need it. I live in Florida. It would have been nice for hurricane season.

I'm starting to wonder how many of these items are going to be on a mid cycle refresh.

I would hate for that to be the case. Considering the Pro only comes lifted by an inch and change in the front and nothing in the rear. But my fear is you are correct. And the stock meats on that thing look puny. I am hearing 285 / 60??? Which is barely a 32 stock. The good news is from the looks of it there will be room for a 285/70 which will bring it close to 34 inches

Hopefully since they realize a lot of people will put lifts on their vehicle, so they are offering a 3" one as an option, hopefully they will realize a lot of people are going to put different size tires/wheels on their trucks and made some where that you can change vehicle settings to put your tire specs in there and it will automatically adjust your speedometer and odometer without getting the dealer involved.

More AC is a good thing, and easy to do factory. It's a no-brainer and we're seeing reviews where the lack of it is a facepalm kind of thing.

The same 100W/400W since 2005 is bush league. Big miss. You don't use it, but then there's people that are using laptops in the cab in conjunction with smartphones on long trips. Some people aren't into tiny smartphone displays when they have a 14"+ tablet or laptop available. Those people need charging for both the laptop and the smartphone.

And then there's people that don't stay in hotels, they're 40 miles from town out in the boonies and like to keep their laptops charged for reading, keep their camera batt charged, keep their headlamp batts charged, keep their power tools charged, keep their jumppack charged, run a coffee maker, run a blender, use an electric space heater. Toyota dropped the ball.

The point of going off the grid is to leave your electronics behind and enjoy yourself.

They're saying the TNGA-F should last 7 years. 2029 should be the introduction of the 4-Banger hybrid Tundra. Should be FWD, electronic motors on the rear axle.

No, it isn't. That's ridiculous. You can leave everything at home if you choose, but ridiculous to do so. AC power is a good thing, the more AC you have is a good thing.

yeah the wife hates it when she cant reach me when i am fishingl. thats the point, 12-14 hrs of no phone signal is bliss. who cares if i dont even catch a fish or even get a bite (i've had those days). just myself and the emptiness of only me and the lake is worth it.

edit: i do use the phone to play my micro sd card music or take pics of fish i catch/release. but thats about the extent of using a phone while fishing.

Don't worry. You are correct. Have a cell signal? You're not camping. Travel trailer? Not camping. Both? May as well be in a hotel. :D

We very rarely have electric at sites and rely on the solar panels on the top of our trailer to run the basics. After a couple cloudy days, we start to run low on power. I've never owned a generator and wouldn't take one camping.

Making a pot of coffee every morning with a little a/c power off the truck would be awesome. We would definitely use it camping. I think it has a lot of uses. Maybe for 2023.

I think if you have a family and tow a trailer and camp at sites without hookups, there are uses for more a/c power. I'm not sure what the argument is. It's bad because it can only be used for your kid to charge his iPad?

I think all this new tech generally sucks, but having a generator in my Tundra would be bad ass.

If everyone you know camps just like you do you do not know enough people.

Kind of like the simple fact that real trucks have an 8’ bed.
