    I was.

I agree with you and that "spray" crap. My dealer tried to charge me for it. I showed them that the work hadn't been done, or if it had it was so poorly done that it was undetectable. They asked me to drive back to them (2 hours drive 1 way) so they could apply it. And for my trouble, they would give me an extra box of the worthless crap. I laughed at them and told them that I was going to put on something myself that was way better than what they had to offer and I could spend my day applying it instead of sitting around their stealership.
Took a while, but they finally refunded me. Turns out they needed something from me too... A signed power of attorney odometer statement that was holding their ability to close 2 deals.
Funny how quick they were to cut a check once they knew they had no choice.

After seeing a bunch of pictures since the release, I don't think the grill is that bad. It's still slightly over the top but not a show stopper IMO.

Prior to the announcement, the pictures floating around made the grill appear big by distortion.

The Platinum trim is what I'd consider. Can't wait the the build function is available on Toyota.com. I'd probably wait til 2023 though.

Current gen crewmax does not have under seat storage so they did not get rid of it.

Ya disappointed with Toyota on that part. My friend just recently got to see the TRD pro in person and says that it would be so much better with 35’s. I’m just curious if the 3 inch lift will require tire upgrade?

Sadly I've been viewing too many 2022 pictures.

I walked out to my 2019 to go to lunch and...the grill seems inadequate.

I think the pro will come with two different packages. The pics of the white one on display has the black door handles and mirror caps with no running boards. Then on the official toyota video, theres a white pro with color matched handles and mirrors and a set of rock slider looking steps, and it also has pro written in red on the tailgate.

Right! I don't own the current gen Tundra anymore. But after looking at the new Tundra pics for a week now, anytime I see a photo of the current gen it looks like a toy. :crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

I guess we will see, if they were earth shattering I would imagine they would have mentioned them at launch, but they did not really have much info at all at launch regarding numbers like that. (Approach/departure/clearance) etc.

Is your Tundra a DC or CrewMax for comparison? I just sold my Tacoma CrewMax and am wanting a Tundra. If the DC Tundra is bigger than my Taco CrewMax that's perfect for me.

not advanced enough to do tires. I can pretty much just scrible colors. Heres one with the bottom grill colored. Looks so much better to me. It just looks unfinished the way they have it now.screenshot.jpg

Yes, inventory is low and it's still a sellers market but if that were true, there wouldn't be ANY vehicles left at all. The fact that there are still vehicles there proves there are NOT 10 people behind you. Stick to your guns. Make your play and if they balk at it then leave. THAT is your ONLY power and you need to use it. Leave your number and tell them to call you when things normalize. It might not be immediate ... it might be inconvenient, but it will work. Yes there are issues but dealers are making way more milk with this situation and eventually it's going to collect and spoil.

    CrewMax

I would say that the DC Tundra should be bigger than the crew cab Tacoma. I went to the stealership this passed weekend to get my 40k service done on my Tundra. They had a 2021 Tundra SR DC in the showroom. I sat in the back of it and it felt like it had more space than the Tacoma crew cab.

I didn't go back and forth to compare, as I was busy chasing around my 4 year old whom LOVES to look at cars. I love that girl...

Exactly, that’s the problem. 14 years and couldn’t figure out a solution.

If that is the same outlet/specs and set up as the one on the Tacoma, its pretty much useless for anything more than charging cellphone or a laptop...lol. Waste of hybrid battery capability. If you ask me that is an oversight on Toyotas part for the Hybrid.

Extremely stupid design. Or Toyota was afraid the battery was not strong enough to perform without the engine running.

Yesterday he put out a video saying it took premium. Considering the name of his channel he should be somewhere in this forum. But if he was, he wouldn't have put out the 'it takes premium' video.

Just an FYI,, a dealer just sold a 21Pro for right at 70K!!! The guy was waiting four months for it. Put a lift with tires and a couple other trinkets and paid almost 90K tax title license out the door. Another place has one coming in and listed for 58 but will tack on another 8 thousand or more when it gets there because they can!! I just think that is insane!!!,, but if someone pays that for the truck so be it??? Wild times!!! Pros are going for dang near 70 or more in the Houston area if and when they come in??? The 22s Pro are not going to be cheap!!!!!:)

Maybe Toyota is saving a better hybrid design for '23 or '24? I'm hoping that might coincide with the announcement of the new battery tech that's been rumored for years...
