It’s kinda apparent they wanted to make a full size Tacoma , not sure this will go over that well.

need to see the truck in person but right now I’m disappointed with the platinum exterior.

I don’t hate it, but not loving it either. Not a fan of the front end. Sticking with my ‘18 for the time being. Looking forward to seeing how they actually perform though.

TFL specifically said the TRD Pro only comes in crew cab and short bed 5.5, no 6.5 for Pro.

I really want a 6.5 bed on my next truck.

Now wondering what trim levels with decent off-road can I get with a 6.5 bed? I hope they don't crimp us like they do with the Tacoma

I expected them to drop the 3rd gen tundra at the front of the 1/2 ton pack. With Ford’s F150 at 430/570, yeah I was hoping for numbers that would keep the Tundra at the front for a while while the domestics scramble to catch up.

I’m sure the 3rd gen Tundra will be a great truck. But after a 14-year generation, I was expecting that they’d beat everyone handily.

Sure looks like SR5, Limited, Platinum, and 1794 get the TRD Off Road package with locker, shocks, and tires.

Just checked my trucks value on carvana and kbb. Last time I checked it was 45-49k. Now it’s 35-36k just 3 months later with 3k more miles. So I will not be getting a new tundra haha

That would be Limited, 1794 and the new top of the line trim, I guess? Not sure where the Pro is supposed to fall.

If the kennels fit in your 2021, I think you'll be fine with a 3rd Gen.

Limited, Platinum, and 1794 optional. Pro comes as hybrid only.

I'm surprised they'd limit it since the F150 is available on every trim

My plan is to look at a '23 and let the first year issues get worked out. I also am looking forward to Sequoia redesign, which I assume will be '23.

One review mentioned rear climate controls and heated/vent seats in back in higher grades. That would be a first for trucks wouldn't it? I've always wondered why high end sedans have rear climate, but 60k trucks didn't.

    This answers my first question.

Haven’t seen this posted anywhere. Wondering if the hybrid is a crewmax-only option. I was hoping to get a double cab/6.5’ bed with the hybrid but seeing as where the battery sits it may be limited to the crewmax.
