I think the new Pro will definitely be out of the price range of what I would like to spend

Need driving impression but so far it’s looking promising… nicer than its competitors

I'm with you...except for the more refined part, they haven't come close to the refinements of the big 3,. And price will turn people away.

Toyota literally just quit making the most capable 1/2 ton on the market and started making an extraordinarily inefficient over-sized sedan, just like Ford.
I stand by my claim that despite the internet and forum enthusiasm, when it comes to nut cuttin' time and putting down cash, all this :spending:will come to an abrupt stop.

It's definitely something for a year or so from now, not a need to have it now. It looks like they targeted all the little things - made the panels fit together well, made the infotainment screens easy and quick, made the buttons easy to reach - and nailed them. Sure it won't be the most powerful engine soon, it won't have the fanciest tech, but it gives me confidence that I could trust it - and when dropping $60k+ on a vehicle that's the most important thing

Even if it was less than 65-70, there isn’t any reason to move from a 21 to a 22.

I was wondering what the focus on the driver side tail light was about. Thanks.

How is this not more refined than the other 3? Go through the lots and you can stick credit cards through panel gaps where the Tundra we were arguing if there was even a seam. Interior panels rattle and fade before the trucks are even sold (last part still TBD on the Tundra of course). The mechanical parts of the truck they made changes to stay competitive, but the little details I think they hit it out of the park. It actually looks like a truck they put together with the idea that it costs $60k, not $60k in gizmos put together like it's a farm beater.

    Function before sparkle.
On a 2WD base only. TRD Pro is closer to 1500.

It will be interesting to see if the air suspension Tundras will have different numbers.

My 2013 has 49k miles on it. I don't care what others are saying I like the new 22 Tundra. I'll take the Sport. Put some wheels and slight lift, hell yeah.

Pretty impressed with what I've seen. Will the TRD pro be available in the 6.5 bed? Color match fenders? And word on the tundra having heads up display?

hmmm...not sure how this will go over with everyone having the PRO be hybrid only.
I like the heated/ventilated seats, actual buttons for HVAC,
might have to see what Tundra TRD offroad will be like.

Lol. Toyota will sell every single Tundra they build without having to give 10k rebates like the domestics. Probably be lucky to get one at msrp.
