Do you think that there is a group of people employed by toyota whose job it is to read all this "speculation" thats posted throughout the web? Perhaps in the PR department that then transfers their "findings" to the design team?

The idea at least makes sense to me since we are all "connected."
    20201012_170844.jpg
I mean look at how much interest this thread has, and this isn't the only thread like this on the forum here. Guaranteed, its not the only one on the web. The links provided above proves that.

Do you think they are taking notes, or laughing at all these renderings?

One thing is overwhelmingly apparent to me if any of these renders are even remotely close to the final concept . Toyota has not been listening.

There is not nearly enough chrome on the grille area./s

You'd think after all the money people have spent on parts, that someone would at least realize that the chrome surround has got to go.

They are all lowering looking for some miniscule improvement in MPGs. When I saw the newish Ford 4x4 I wanted to puke. The front bumper would definitely not work on ranch roads I hunt.

Best looking rendering BY FAR. I would 100% buy one if it looks like that. Keeps a lot of the body lines of the 3rd Gen, but incorporates some good looking parts of the Tacoma / RAV4 / 4Runner. Would love to see it color matched with no chrome.

Won’t be thinking of trading in my 18 Platinum for one until we get real reports of the motor, transmission, rear suspension, and interior.

If you look at the Texas editions that the big 3 offer you would think Texans all like chrome. This may be true because we are becoming North Mexico.

Obviously you don't live somewhere that you get snow or frost. The 3rd gens are too goddamn high to scrape the windshield.

That render actually looks really good, hopefully will look similar.

Hopefully they offer a Tundra TRD Prime as the hybrid. The Rav4 Prime is impressive.

    30+mpg would be awesome.

I also heard it may have a tow rating of 18000 lbs. For now, that is hearsay.

the new f-150 came in rated to tow 14k. That’s a lot of weight for a half ton

Right? The truck rated highest for reliability in all the review, polls, and data that I've seen; and this "journalist" says that....

that second picture is a 3rd gen, and the first is supposedly a rendering. I guess we'll have to just wait and see.

I think that was 5th wheel ratings on the Tundra, but yeah...I totally agree with you. Hell, my 1 ton is only rated at 13500 conventional towing.
