I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
A back seat divider would be excellent.

Toyota won’t let us down, they’ll offer a model with chrome plated everything. Even the dash board will be chrome!

Another thing just just became apparent to me….If they limit storage areas and minimize bed space they can reduce potential overload of the payload capacity. I’m thinking they’ll make the rear seat a two seater captains chair option. Seriously though, that would be badass as a 4 seater (reclining) and room in the middle for a small Dometic Fridge. I need some FaceTime with Mike S.

I think the issue with them though was a bent camshaft timing gear, and gm designed this engine with the timing set in the rear of that engine so it's a pretty big repair.

Those ram cam issues I think were linked to the displacement on demand crap as well. It's just not a good system for any make. I have a friend with a Honda pilot that has to have 3 cylinders piston rings replaced on the dod cylinders that shut down. This chase to make the epa happy is leading to less reliability.

Depends on the trim I bet. I'm sure the high grade trims or the SR5 will have plenty of chrome on it.

They're only marketing the TRD Pro.... which never has chrome on it.

Yeah I'm really curious what the other trims look like and what the standard equipment will look like.

From the forums I have been following due to my issues, GM states that it is 50 hours of labor at a minimum.

Yes that is correct, my buddy says that the job pays well to complete. Lots of tear down in a new truck though.

Nothing. I guess the gentleman hasn't really seen a refreshed 2nd gen. To his credit, it's a great looking truck and color . The fastest and best color at that. I'm surprised more people don't take random pictures of us driving them.

2 people reported it for being "off topic". I really didn't care as it wasn't hurting anything, but didn't want to hear about it anymore.

Here, you can have it back!

I was just confused and went and looked at all of the most recent threads thinking I was losing my mind. All good either way to me!

Considering all the off topic posts that populate this thread. This new Tundra turned my head and is new to me. Nice color indeed.
