I hear about the current pricing, but you can also get an inflated value for your current Tundra ...

Just unbelievable Toyota can not make a rear view mirror properly! I hate adjusting these things.

If guys are so upset that this truck looks kinda like other similar trucks they should just wait for the cyber truck. There now you have something that looks different. :puke:

ya, agreed, hard to tell but those new pics from toyota today looking out the windshield it sure looks like the windshield is small and the top is chopped. I really hope thats not the case, but its too hard to tell from that rendering

Figure they're going the same route as GM in raising the beltline. Think it was TFL that put a 1/2 ton Sierra beside a 1 ton Sierra and the bed sides on the 1/2 ton were higher. It's better for fuel economy but annoying trying to put stuff in the bed

Id have to see this inflated value from a dealer to believe it I guess, Im not sure what I have is worth.

I do have a few members with standing interest if I sell my tundra based on the build and how well I take care of stuff, but not sure I want to deal with all that.

it doesn't matter right now anyways, still a was off from being able to drive this thing.

That’s a stretch. Similar to some comparing a Tundra CrewMax to a Honda Ridgeline. Except for similar payload capacities, nothing the same.

I have leased mine for the last 2 years and just bought it this week. Vroom offered me 8k more than what I just paid for it, Carvana was 7k higher. I love my truck and not looking to sell. I read so much however about the increased prices for used vehicles, especially ones that hold their value like the Tundra, that I had to see for myself. Crazy....!

Man, I sure was disappointed in how the Bronco turned out after all the hype from Ford. Maybe its plenty capable off-road, but it sure doesn't look the part. Maybe once it's lifted a good bit with some bigger tires it will help the looks. If their target was making a small/tame looking family SUV, then maybe they hit their mark.

Not always an option or convenient.

Also, around here you are required to have front and rear recovery points to get a beach permit.

if they are there underneath you'd be pressed to hook them up and then pull without tearing the shit out of the front of that thing. made thats just a pre-production rendering.

The picture linked is the Bronco sport... which is supposed to be a small/tame family SUV... the Bronco (non-sport) is what is supposed to compete with the Wrangler/FJ cruiser... and it looks way better...

Edit: I'm an idiot and just glanced at it and thought it was the Sport. I concede the base model does look wimpy. But so does a base model wrangler.

The picture linked is the regular bronco and not the sport, but it’s the most basic trim possible.

My point is that they chose to delete it instead of redesign it so it could safely remain. Doing the latter safely is doable (they did it on the 2022 Tundra); they just chose not to on the 2.5gen, presumably for $$ reasons.

Safety plus handle is better than safety minus handle. Sure, I guess that’s subjective.

I still love my truck. And I added the handle. I have a bit of a lift, and I hate sliding off the side of my seat when I get out.
