I just sent an adjusted F150 build to the Ford dealer I've been talking to. $64,865 MSRP for the Lariat and came back with $57,200 purchase price + TTL and $199 dealer fee. And if there's any rebates at delivery I would get those. Not bad.

I've tried to keep up with this thread, and I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. Maybe it has been.

Anyone else notice something red inside of the front drivers side wheel? I'm guessing a red TRD Pro skid plate. I thought at first perhaps a red forged lower control arm like the new uppers on that lime 22 Tacoma, but the angle and position doesn't look quite right for that.

Not too bad, I took a peak at the trade in on a 3 year old version of that truck and it looks like a resale of just 12 K less than that purchase price which is about 20% depreciation. Not bad, a few years ago when I was shopping one for a family member they were running closer to 25% or more.

If you can get the Tundra platinum you mention for 56K out the door that one would probably be a better deal all the way around, the 3 year trade in value on the Tundra is exactly what the Fords is but with a lower price. Depreciation on the Tundra is closer to 14%

Anxious to see what the pricing is going to be.

Honestly as time goes on its getting difficult to justify trading off my 2019 for a 2022. One of those times I am almost glad my un controlable impulses for shiny new things cant be full filled LOL.

I did lol. They aren't budging off their "VIP" treatment of $1500 and extra freight. Like tinted windows, nitrogen and door edge guards aren't $1500. FOH. I have a few dealers around me that don't charge that crap but they don't have anything to sell me.

For giggles I looked up the F150 Tremor. Check out this paint color. Way better than lime rush. Pricing was $65+. Would be interesting to see what dealer would say.
I don't trust Ford at all but would be interesting to compare.

I think you can get an F250 with the 7.3 tremor package for less than that if your open to a F250. Last one I looked at was mid 50's. Non tremor was in the 40's

The more I look at the new tundra it looks alot like the tacoma. So I guess my new truck will be a Taco Grande. The power and tourqe numbers are very impressive (forced induction here at altitude would be badass). Whats a ford lariet?

That video is NOT official. It's basically fan made with lots of images of current gen Tundras. It's garbage.

Yup. That automotive press channel or whatever it is is all about clicks. Acts like he has more info to offer to. Says he "forgot" to include interior pics... he has none. Total hack.

See that's where you and I disagree. I've got no doubt the new Tundra will have better payload, better tow ratings, and better fuel economy. And while everything known on paper is going to look better, there becomes as many unknown questions to equal them. Reliability and real world fuel economy, just naming the first two off the top of my head. Even those who don't want to admit it yet know that the V8 is gone, the Lexus engine replacing it doesn't have the same record as the 5.7, check for yourself. I've had the Ecoboost, the grass isn't greener, the fuel economy was marginally better at best, premium fuel recommended while towing, and I always had the turbos and timing chain problems in the back of my mind. For me doing 90% city driving and super low mileage, it was a no brainer picking the devil I know VS the devil I don't know. Zero doubt the new Tundra will be awesome, but I need a truck now and am not interested in next gen growing pains.

Luckily they do have trucks available, I am in the opposite situation kind of, the current Tundra specs are not really adequate for what I need another full size truck for, for mpg, and city driving etc, the truck I have now (tacoma) is perfect. I need a little more performance that other trucks currently give but I don't want to buy another domestic unless I have no other choice. I am anxiously waiting for the specs and to see what Toyota comes up with on this new Gen Tundra.

Personally I have always appreciated the current Tundras reliablity but it has always been my least favorite full size truck from an appearance standpoint. Lucky for me I guess that I didn't have to pick the one I liked to look at the least since the specs didn't give me what I was looking for either.

Looks at least leveled, I think the small tires make it look higher than it is. But it could also possibly have a 3/1 lift

Only thing worse than that is the asking price for used 2020 with 24k miles for $57k.

That is crazy pricing, the local dealer near me has 18 2021 Tundras on their website and only 3 of them are priced over 53K. Most of them are under 50.

(I think only 2 of them are actually on the lot, the others are in transit)

They have 3 used tundras on the lot, highest priced is a 2018 SR5 DC 4wd with 48K listed for $40,988
