Front end I don’t like too much. The rest of it looks great. Welcome to the 6-lug world finally, Tundra!

It makes the other trucks look old and outdated looking now.

The floating roof design makes it stand out. I bet others will start doing that now.

Falken wildpeak a/t tires. I’ll guess size is 255/65R18. Needs 33’s

Car and Driver article states 285/65’s

So if they’re 18”s that would be a 32.6” tire. In the unlikely event those are now a 20” it would be a 34.6” tire.

Well the current 2007-2021 Tundra is also an ugly truck if it makes you feel any better.

Well if Falken scored an OEM contact to supply a tire and Toyota specifically wanted that size I’ll bet Falken would jump through their own ass to make it happen.

I actually didn't mind the 3rd generation. I think it's a solid looking truck. I guess I'm more old school.

As opposed to all the raw steel that's seen on the current Tundra?

Wonder what kind of frame we have underneath, with the coils that look 5- link I would think fully boxed

No-name aftermarket grille, led fender extensions. Black Horse bambi-basher. Various offroad lights.
Yes, as it sits it looks like a supertaco. Look past that and see it with some proper aftermarket grilles, maybe a hood scoop, some better fender flares, whatever mods you personally like ( and in my case a DC version). Still hate it?

15sf of plastic on the front and the approach angle worse than GM. Bet Ford is breathing a sigh of relief they don’t have an actual competitor to the Raptor on their hands.

It’s a bigger Tacoma. It’s like they thought - all those 20-somethings that bought Tacos as their first truck are going to soon be 30 somethings with kids and a first house, let’s give em exactly what they already bought, but bigger.

Sometimes I wonder if Toyota just gets the wrong message - everyone buys it because it’s the only reliable option in a small truck or 1/2 ton, but because we buy it they think everyone likes the way it LOOKS, so they make the new one look more like the old one. I’m sure market research says I’m wrong, but man I wish they made it look more “mature” and not what an 15 year old would hang on their wall.

All 2022 Tundra allocation has been revoked, instead they’ll get 2022 CorollaCross.
