My support will depend on engine choices because from what ive seem i love the look. That modified 4R front looks good and i like the cab styling. Hopefully the Platinum looks good too.

Looks so much better in black. Am holding off judgement until we can see them in MGM, white, etc. Red just has never done it for me.

Definitely would need to see in person how it looks. But seems like i'll hold on to my crewmax for another few years. Not impressed with design, i hope interior is much better .

I think it looks mean. Has a 4Runner look to me. Agree with most the tailgate looks like crap.

I’d love to pick one up but hoping my truck lasts me a long time!

Agreed. Black looks really good. I think the color matched A pillar helps the flow.

It's hard to tell from those pics, but I really hope they got the proportions right. The side profile almost looks like the elephant seal snout front-end the Nissan Titan has...
I'll probably be in the market for a new truck around 2025, so we'll see how this pans out. I don't hate what I see so far, though, so that's a start!

Looks like the nikola badger but with a 4Runner front. For those that point out biting off of a raptor with the grill lights, I agree but I also think it’s the fact that this truck will be larger/wider which is why those 3 lights are required. Anything over 80” wide requires those lights, it’s why the Rebel TRX has them as well. I think this truck is one of those pics don’t do it justice type and it will look much better in person. Similar to this current gen tundra. Us 2nd Gen owners thought the new look wasn’t real nice at first. Until I saw one in person.

    Still rolling stock baby....

Ram dealer in town has a black TRX on the lot. Its been tempting I can assure you.

I have been waiting for the 2022 tundra, from the pics of the exterior I like it. I want to see the interior and get my hands on the V6 twin turbo. More than likely I will be getting one, god help my checking account LOL,

I can’t decide which direction Toyota went with those black accents. It’s either they’re taking cues from their crossovers and sedans with the stupid ass “it makes it look faster” black accents. Forget actually adding performance. Hey give it a black roof and spoiler it makes it faster! Or they poorly attempted the Raptor and TRX black accents.

The grill actually looks to be smaller than the current Tundra. I'm guessing the other models will have the lower bumper part painted to match the body. Should look good. The hood things are stupid though.

Its looks will grow on us ....not sure how long though just hope it has improved its rides / handling/ interior / gas mileage and keeps one thing Toyota has done well .... reliability and in 4 or 5 years we may know that.

There must not be any NDAs in place for these guys because surely they wouldn't be that stupid to plaster the dealer email address all over it along with the IP address even if it is a local IP.

The look has grown on me a bit since seeing it yesterday. Still want to see interior and know price and powertrain etc. I am curious if Toyota has been keeping the 21 Tundra production low due to the chip shortage so they can have a healthy stock of the 2022. I remember reading that Toyota had prepared well for a shortage of chips and had been weathering the storm well with it. Thoughts?

I’d almost say it was intentional. Perhaps directed. Except the sloppy IP address and other stuff in the picture.

How could he think if he sent it to anyone they’d keep it secret.

No shit. I can’t imagine it was on purpose, since I’m sure Toyota isn’t happy about it. From what I can tell, he posted it to Reddit first. Some of the comments are people alerting him that his email address was visible. The pics have it blocked out now.

It’s not terrible…will wait to see in person. Hope Toyota does some sort of test drive event tour with this truck. Would love to test drive it and see it’s capabilities. A towing test drive would be nice too. At the minimum let’s get a good press day so TFL Truck can do killer videos on it and tell us how well it performs!
