Yeah, aftermarket accessories design was my first thought. I guess grill guards instead of bumpers maybe.

My 2012 Ford Lariat turned into a total piece of junk at 50K miles, 2019-2020 stiff broke 5 times a year for both years, and was glad to trade it in for a new Tundra in March this year, and should have bought the Tundra in 2012 as its a rock solid pickup compared to the other pickups, but doesn't have all the other bells and whistles inside that some owners want.

It's not terrible, just very busy. I hated the 4runner when it first came out, now I love it. I'm more interested in the drive train and the possibility of a rear locking diff option

It's also put together with structural adhesives instead of welds. Toyota touted this as a benefit. :notsure:

Why the hell does the tailgate have amber marker lights?

There has to be more going on with the tailgate than what we can see.

From the side, the black fender flare blends in with the black of the wheel well, which to me makes it look like the wheel well is much bigger than it really is.

I’m not saying those tires aren’t small; just saying they look even smaller because of the black flares against the red.

Lots of folks have been frothing at the mouth in anticipation for the 22. Ready to trade in their 2020 after just trading in their 2018 for the 2020. Apparently a hodge podge looking tunny (maybe if these pics are truly legit) catches their eye. As mentioned here previously, I'm seeing a RAM, Avalanche, Ford, and 4R with the largemouth bass grille look. Nothing original going on exterior wise. Not sayin it sucks but nothing I'd be interested in just because of the looks of it. I'm just being a bit snarky because I can...

So verified in that pic is the lightbar behind the grill is on the TRDPro.

As for the hood, is Toyota biting off of the Ford Raptor?

Might look a little better in black because it will camouflage some of the plastic a little bit better.

You know what? From that angle I really like it. Does it need bigger tires? Sure. But so does every stock truck. Now I want to know price, powertrain, and payload. In that order.
