Don’t like any hvac controls in the screen. If screen goes down it makes it difficult to operate if at all.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Agreed, leave the damn HVAC controls to knobs or buttons where they belong.

YES, this. Easy to replace knobs and resistors/thermistors and all of that. Not so easy (or cheap) to replace screens and the like.

I hate having hvac on the screen. Don't like small buttons either. I want to reach down and change it by feel without taking my eyes off the road.

Dammit I looked it up and showed my wife, now she is talking about trading her 15 nx in on one. Looks like the new nx has everything she was wanting on her current one.

I just got one for my wife. The problem was we didn't have much of a choice she didn't get the color she wanted and after having it a couple of weeks we found out it didn't have Seat Memory.

Other than that she likes it. It's smaller than her RX 400 H and gets 30 MPG.

Yeah she really likes her nx, but she has always wanted the panoramic sunroof and she likes the fancy screens and we would probably look at the plug in hybrid this time around as well.

Plug-in drivetrain available now too. I’d go for it. If her commutes are short then all electric could be feasible.

I would trade just because it doesn’t have that stupid ass track pad anymore.

The dash as a whole looks pretty good. I’m not one for the big screens but it does look pretty good.

She has about a 35 minute commute so the plug in hybrid would probably get her to work and then gas on the way home. I dispise that damn track pad.

I think those are nice. I would just prefer no vehicle controls are integrated into it.

That would be freaking awesome because electricity is free and has net zero carbon to make! What a splendid situation!

I suspect the 14” screen is going to be a Lexus exclusive option, but if it does make it to the Tundra at least the vehicle is big enough and wide enough that it won’t be totally ridiculous.

Just leave the HVAC for interior air and heated or cooled seats on knobs!

I hate the trend of using small buttons for climate controls. I love my '18 Tundra's three large knobs for climate control. It's a classic system that used to be common. I don't have to take my eyes off the road to know what I'm doing for the most part. And they're easy to use with gloves.

On the other hand, I have a Subaru Legacy that is all buttons except for the temp knobs. I have to look down at it to do anything but change the temp. And I have to look at the screen as I press mode to see what it's set to. Just dumb...

Doesn’t really matter any more! Knobs are basically doing the same thing..but with that said..I can remember when it was going to get cold I would always push the lever to full hot before walking away cause the cable was often frozen where you left it the previous day! It would eventually warm up but sometimes it took quit awhile! Also I’ve noticed the screens at times get a little unresponsive in cold weather..but my wife’s 2019 RAV4 XSE has knobs and has worked flawlessly! I doubt/hope the new Tundra will be all screen controls? Either way it’s NOT a :censored: RAM…..

This is just dumb at this point. Release the truck. Everyone else has their cards on the table and there is no benefit to this excruciating-ly slow release. It's just a pickup Toyota, you're not releasing another Supra. Chill bro.

The Supra wasn't a flop IMO. They stayed true to the turbo I6 heritage, and went to one of the industry leaders in making turbo I6's for the engine and drive train.

Again, this is a pickup truck. If they want people to put in orders for '22 they better get on it. I know a lot of folks who have already reserved and/or pre-ordered other brands because Toyota has been so late to the game with the Tundra. Can't exactly be a "domestic killer" if it never comes out...
