    A bunch
Driven them a lot, multiple generations of the 3.5 and a 2.7 as well. 1000% prefer my 5.7. The best F150 engine I've driven is actually the 3.0 PSD (haven't driven the 3.5 HO, but I'll never be in the market for a Limited or Raptor so don't care about it). And this has been around Alberta including around Calgary which is at 4000 ft. The saggy, soft suspension of F150's just kills any feeling of power.

And the tow/haul in the Tundra sharpens the throttle response, makes it more like the 07-13 throttle. When I had my 2010 I had to hit the TC button all the time or else the engine would cut out on me I'd be tripping the TC so much the throttle was that sensitive.

Not hurt. Just sick of listening to arrogant millennials who always think that their way is the only way. You clearly, are one of those people whom enjoy name-calling and talking down to others who disagree with you.

Coming from the guy who requested silence from another member for differing points of view. Not arrogant, just knowledgeable and opinionated.

Love my Tundra, and naturally, as an attorney I play devil's advocate from time to time.

Hey man, don't assume he's arrogant, and thinks his way is the only way because he's a millennial - it's because he's a lawyer.

Oh, an attorney. That makes perfect sense. I have no problem whatsoever with people who are "opinionated", as most of us are. It's when they become disrespectful to their peers and/or their elders, as you clearly are. And I did not request anything. Just expressed my glee that an condescending millennial that enjoys belittling members of this forum, might be gone soon. Surprised that an attorney missed that.

Regardless, I wish you all the best with your Ford.

Sorry you feel that way. Didn't intend to make you feel less, or that I was condescending to you.

My tone is not negative, I just type this way. As Californian said, it's the lawyer in me.

I might be here long term, depending on the new Tundra. The F150 comes in late February/March. Btw, I've had two Tundras and have been on this forum for about three years. Love it here.

The new Tundra is going to be superb...but maybe not out of the box.

Its going to have every nanny you can imagine + more.
That TT V6 engine in the lexus has a nanny for *literally* everything and then some.
I think the days of raw, real power like the older 5.7 trucks provide, are just gone.
Toyotas new "intelligent" throttle control paired with load control on the V35A-FTS and other FTS engines means that you get what it gives you, not what you want.

Do you know how it makes a flat torque curve? by giving only enough throttle to make that torque.

In the IS200T, if you FLOOR it at 2500 RPM, you get no more than 30% throttle, ever.

If the new Tundra does this, it's going to suck out of the box (IMO)

It's a similar strategy to fords ecoboost, that limits throttle to torque. But Ford does this so, so, so much better.

(my opinion. I'm excited for it)

You did not and could not, make me feel less. I am not 60 years old, nor do I drive a GTO around for the "sound". I am simply an adult Tundra owner, who enjoys constructive, helpful conversation on an enthusiast forum.

I think its funny that people believe you should respect your elders.
Someone can be a POS their entire life, then one dAy they become someones elder, so they deserve respect?
Fuck that, respect is earned no matter your age.

He has a problem with Millennials who voice their opinion, and don't agree with their way of life. Totally agree about the "elder" thing. That's a joke.

I, too, of the Generation X, hate loud & lifted trucks. That my opinion, so I'm with you on loud. It's those trucks that make sure to gun it when they are right by you that offend me.

You, on the other hand, did make some snarky remark about someone having a loud truck because they think it makes them look cool. Sure, some might do that, but most on this forum would probably be content to just hear that rumble on a long lonely road. Some probably even have the respect to not gun it when they are around other people that might be bothered by it.

Exhausts are like music - "mechanical" music. The same way everyone likes/dislikes certain types of music - so goes it with exhausts.

Same goes with technology - mobile devices, social media, etc... Some like/embrace/live for it. Others despise it. Others tolerate it.

My 73 year old father in law loves loud exhausts, loves technology and loves social media. At 48, I like a tasteful exhaust, tolerate technology and hate social media (except for this forum of course).

We're all different and can't be pigeonholed based on age/generation.

Public service announcement over ;) Peace everyone.
