Looks like a reverse hood scoop almost. Are those turbo bulges?

For a while the GM HDs with gas engines had bulges like that, despite not having turbos.

Next question, how long is this teaser supposed to hold us over for before they give us something else?

Well, this is the first official mention of anything, and we are four months from most manufacturers next model year release time, so.....

That's exactly what I was thinking. Guys on here put them on because they look cool (I like them, but don't have them), but it's unlikely that Toyota would add them unless it was wide enough to require them.

It wouldn't take much. My understanding is they're required on any vehicle wider than 80" and I think that's about how wide the current Tundra is.

Simply put, no V8, no sale! My personal 2012 runs like butter at 120k...
I have owned nothing but Toyota's, except an F150 with Ecoboost, and that failed on me on labor day weekend while towing. Tell me any of you like being broken down, towing on labor day, on a major highway!

Ford is hiding the satisfaction numbers on that engine, they are a lie, ask the dealer service managers, and they will tell you how bad that engine really is!!

Personally invested in several local companies. We need the V8 in the rockies. When our 25 Tundras come due to replace, I will not be replacing them with an overtuned V6. That's over half a million that the dealers locally will now miss out on. But that's small potato's to Toyota, so they don't care.

If I have one thing to say is this, SAVE THE V8!!

looks like the A pillar is still super raked, I was hoping to not have to bend in half to get in like I do now and was hoping for a new cab shape

The current cab is already way too tall. It's too hard to scrape ice off the windshield and if it gets over 55 degF here, I have to run the A/C for hours to cool the truck off.
