I have shared the source of my investment advice in other threads. It's not free, but it will pay for itself pretty quickly!

That’s a pretty big ev. It has to be an ev due to lack of grill, but it looks small truck size.

I can understand that. There's alot of guys that have a 2018-2021 and want to buy another new truck and trade theirs in. It doesn't make any sense to me.

If you think of it strictly in terms of money and returns on investments, it makes zero sense. But if it’s their hobby and they have the discretionary cash flow to support it, it makes more sense.

This is very true. If I was rich I'd have hella project cars and trucks, but my DD I would keep for awhile. I like keeping vehicles for a long time. But that's just me.

I bought my Bullitt completely on Profits from Tesla Stock. Started buying at launch of the stock and when it was first introduced (2018). Sold 1/2 of it and bought the Bullitt straight up, though I did use the Ford Motor Credit to finance to get the extra incentive cash and paid it off when second payment was due after a 'test' that the connection to the account was good for first payment. I know nothing about investments, but have had a good IRA in a solid Mutual Fund. The Tesla thing was dumb luck. Wish I had taken more risk, I'd be driving a new 911 ;-)

They've been maximizing profit since the 1st Tundra. There are only 2 wheelbases. A 3rd for the 2nd gen while they had RCSB.

So with that post, Toyota has been sticking to its road map as far...Sienna, Venza, 86, This CUV .

Autoblog is suggesting that this CUV is scheduled to be introduced in Shanghai auto show, which is on April 21-28, 2021. Lets see.:fingerscrossed:

So they're staying on schedule with the Sequoia being revamped the year following the Tundra.

    Check it out:
    1st gen Tundra XK30 platform 2000-2006
    1st gen Sequoia XK40 2001-2007

    2nd gen Tundra XK50 platform 2007-2021
    2nd gen Sequoia XK60 platform 2008-2022

    Looks like the pattern continues...

Anyway, the main reason I'm interested in the next gen Tundra is because the Sequoia has historically followed it the next year, and my wife's Yukon XL will probably have ~180k miles on it by then. I'm sure the 2023 Sequoia will have the same drivetrain as the 2022 Tundra. It would be awesome to keep my v8 Tundra that I love and get a much more efficient family hauler like the coming 3rd gen Sequoia. :headbang:

I'm curious what they'll do with the new sequoia. If they'd bring the towing up to around the current tundra I might look hard at them. I'd always had 4runners until I needed more towing and got my tundra so I'm more at home in an suv.
Id imagine it will be all luxury with a fat price tag, but you never really know with Toyota.

To be fair to Ruggybuggy , he’s way up North in Canada where temps don’t get as hot as in the southern states plus he wouldn’t see as many Tundras up there either . So you both can be right .

The north shore of Lake Superior would be some of the worst terrain for transmission temps, for a 300 km stretch it is rarely flat and there's lot of 6%+ grades. Even in a lightly loaded F250 I'm up and down the gears quite a bit on the road. Definitely the nastiest stretch of high traffic highway I've ever driven.
