Hey @Brums! Good thing I bumped into you again! Did you ever get your TRD grille installed with the printed camera brackets? or still waiting for your truck :anonymous:

nice, my allocation is a white with black interior and is suppose to be here in Wisconsin end of June!

I thought all pro's come with red seat belts?

can't wait for mine, even though I am driving a 22' Tundra Platinum now and racking up miles and not losing any money!

How is the light output from the light bar? I know it only works with brights on, but with the auto bright lights, I would think it would be great for highway driving late at night until oncoming traffic triggers the auto high beams off.

Actually now that you mentioned it, the auto high beams are.. finicky? Reflections from road signs trigger them off and if oncoming traffic is separated with a big divide, like Eastern CO, the auto beams aren't exactly reliable. I'm sorry to the semi driver that I "flashed" and proceeded to blind me in retaliation. However, it seems to be a minor issue with most, if not all, manufacturer's auto high beam system.

They do add $1,095 for whatever (chip, dent, lost key blah blah) just FYI to anyone wanting to buy from there. It's probably the lowest add-on of any place around DFW though.

This was probably answered somewhere but knowing that side markers are required if the vehicle is 80" inches wide, where does the width surpass that on a normal Tundra? I always guessed that it would be in the fender flares that would push it over 80 inches. Anyone measured their fender flares compared to the TRD Pro?

Any one in dealership sales or in the past had any experience swapping vehicles? Say if I traded in my Platinum non hybrid for a TRD Pro.. is that just a poor financial decision?

If you are paying $104,000 for the PRO, I'd say yes!!!!!

Lol well hypothetically speaking it would be MSRP only. Maybe wait a few years for a mid gen TRD Pro.. who knows... just fell in love with the Pro when they announced them and settled for something less which is still an amazing truck but now i may have to look at other TRD Pro's and be like.. dang.. could've had that.

In all seriousness, with it being a seller's market, I think you'd probably be okay (especially if your at MSRP on the new PRO). In a traditional market, you'd take a pretty good hit on the swap. The biggest issue is securing purchase of the new PRO; if you are in a financial position to order and receive the PRO, then sell off Platinum once the PRO is in your possession I would think that would be most ideal. CarMax is making insane offers on late model used cars right now, so you can pretty easily sell off the Platinum w/no effort or delay...

My wife ordered a new subi to replace her Pilot. Once the subi arrived we drove her pilot to CarMax, and they gave us a check for a couple thousand more than the subi or honda dealers were willing to give. While we were there (I drove my '21 PRO to bring the wife back), they also offered to buy my PRO at $5k more than I paid for it new (it's low miles 3,000).... crazy times!!!

Bottom line, is that if you can make it work... Why would spend years driving/paying for something that really isn't what you want??

    Good luck!!!

I believe all hybrids have the locking fuel door. No idea why the distinction on the hybrid models, but I read that somewhere else I think.

If I somehow by chance manage to find a pro at msrp or a small markup I'll probably swap too. I freaking love my limited but I think the pro looks amazing. At this rate though I'm looking at 6-12 months of I was actively looking (which I'm not)

Nice truck but we’re all gonna need your help with some PN’s if they are visible of course. If you could assist with any raptor lights and light bar PN’s from your grille? Only if you can visibly see them of course. Wouldn’t want you taking apart the truck for it lol. Thanks in advance for anything you can provide.

All Pros have heated/ventilated front seats. It’s based on the limited trim, so many of the interior features are very similar.

I stand corrected. I was looking at an early e brochure that did not list them for the Pro.

A lot of the spec and compares on Toyota are still inaccurate.

both list pro as having no digital review mirror or trailer straight path assist. It has both
