    None. Just bought.
I wouldn’t use Eco Mode. I believe it tries to upshift too soon or something and does more to hurt mileage. I have just over 3,200 miles on a Limited OR 4X4. I haven’t hit 22 yet on the highway, but have hit 21.5 doing 75 +/- 5 using Normal Mode. Around town I use mostly Sport Mode and get 17-20 depending on traffic and my driving. The only thing I’ve done is changed to TRD air filters. Don’t know if it really made a difference.

Are you driving the hybrid? If so, perhaps it was worth giving up the rear under seat storage space. I managed to get 25mpg with my 2016 Tacoma (had CAT Back and TRD CAI). Hope to hit that in this Tundra without the expense of a CAT Back.

Yes Hybrid, I personally don't mind the battery back there. Not like the floor is flat anyways.

That's excellent for any pickup truck (other than that abomination Ford Maverick hybrid thing). Is that even a hybrid?

there are 4 info's that people should be displaying when they speak about their mpg

    the end of trip info
    the current evic info

    the current drive on infotainment
    the recent drives on infotainment

it would help if people showed all those, it would give the userbase a idea how well the trucks are running, is the evic always showing shit end of trip mpg? Does your infotainment show recent trips as all city and killing your mpg, you get the idea, there are so many variables.

The only truth behind all of this is seems like 98% of owners do not get close to EPA #'s city/hwy #'s. This is the first vehicle I have ever owned that did not meet or exceed EPA #'s

It’s not going to break in and all of a sudden get 20mpg. Your drive just doesn’t allow Good mileage. My trucks at 13k I haven’t noticed any mpg gain over time. But I do get better mileage in the summer of course. Driving 33” ko2’si get get 22mpg driving 55. Driving 70 it’s more like 17. Unless I’m in heavy traffic then I’m in the mud 20’s. Daily driving to work on my short hilly drive with 5-10 minutes of winter warm up I’m averaging around 12. None of my mileage is any mystery. Just pay attention and use your brain.

Only had one fill up so far, still breaking the engine in. Hand calculated at 18.4 mpg first go round. Even mix of city and highway. 4x4 crewmax.

2022 Platinum I-Force Max, 7k miles in so far. Averaging 15-18 mpg on winter blend gas and “D” rated tires(Wildpeaks) weighing 58lbs per tire.

    VS my old truck:

    2008 Crewmax, 5.7L, 208K averaged 12-15 mpg with “E” rated tires(Michelin) weighing 53lbs.

Enjoying the new truck and all the comforts, but can’t wait to hook up my camper in a few weeks. Do Not buy a new Tundra and think that your gas mileage will improve drastically. As you can see I improved about 3 mpg all things being very equal IMO. No regerts!

4K miles on my 23 limited now, non-hybrid. My commute is 40 miles one way, generally country roads 55-65Mph, some city miles but maybe only 10-12 of the 40 and still generally 50Mph. I average between 18-19MPG, some trips 21.5. NO way my 08 could get close to that. I drive pretty easy, eco mode and normal mode but dont see a major difference. Someone else mentioned also but I think the sweet spot is 55-64MPH. But generally a tank of fuel averages 18.5. Ive seen 20-30 miles trips in the 19-22.5 range.

Filled up today and saw a range of 500 Miles for the first time.

269 miles on the platinum, mixed driving, 18.7 mpg. Still has the fuel fill from dealer delivery, so I assume it is 87 octane here in CO. I am certain there will be a gain from using premium fuel, and the weather warming up.

I have a 1794 4wd hybrid with TRD off road and the best I've gotten is 18.9 mpg. Went to an appointment last week and intentionally left early. Drove a little over an hour at 61-62mph and that's when I finally hit 18.9mpg. Truck is still completely stock. I'm about to put some 34 inch tires so I'm sure I'll be down in the 16's.

I've averaged 17.7 over 6200 miles, about 700 of which was towing a 6900lb trailer. The biggest hit on mileage is not temperature or winter fuel in my experience is wind. Headwind or crosswind doesn't seem to matter, both put a 15% or so hit on fuel economy.

just took a trip to bismarck.

on the 2018 we get about 15 mpg on 1 tank and we get to about 1/4 tank round trip.

here is the same trip in the 2023 and we were still above 1/2 a tank before fill up.

the dash showed 17.9 mpg for the tank, my tracker shows 18.5 mpg

Up here in the Great White North of Canada, with all the idling I do to get the truck warmed up, I am sitting at 14 mpg, which I am not overly happy with. In the summer however, I was getting around 19-20 so that I can work with.

I'm sitting at 26,000 km's on the truck now and it should be quite well broken in so maybe this current summer/winter fuel economy is what I will have to live with.

Sorry yea you are right on that, so I am at almost 18 mpg in the winter and close to 24 in the summer, so not that bad then.

you're lucky you are getting 14 remote starting/idling during the winter.

i think the wife hit 5 mpg one tank when it stayed like -20F for 2-3 weeks once in the 18 tundra.

edit : 4.5 mpg on 13-feb-2021, 47 miles over 6 days and filled up 10.4 gals

My 2023 SR 2wd Tundra gets about 17-18 mpg in town and 21ish on the highway. If I drive 55mph on flat ground it’ll get the 24 it’s supposed to, it is winter here so may be worse, I reset the mpg once warmed up to eliminate fuel wasted idling for consistency. My older Tacoma always met or beat the epa always unless going up a hill lol. I do have the SR5 alloy wheels that are slightly taller and probably lower my mpg reading by .5mpg due to the tire diameter (245/75r18 vs 265/70r18). Being the “base” truck there is no eco or other special modes. Just all 10 gears or using Sport mode to lock out higher gears.
