Well I always said it would never happen to me after reading about so many of these trucks going bad with blown motors. Today, it happened. Cruising down interstate minding my own, I get off at my exit come to a stop at the ramp and the motor shuts off with a warning message about “low speed” or something. Then the truck dies. I crank it back up and get about 1/4 of a mile on my turn and it does it again. This time I hear the dreaded sound of an engine deathbed. Rod knock. Check oil. It’s good. No explanation. Never treated my truck with anything other than love and care. Serviced on time everytime. 2022 model with 25k miles and the engine is toast. Sad to see this kind of product come from Toyota. Quality in vehicles is bad anymore. Across the board. Nissan ruined their once flawless rep with crappy trannys and now Toyota is putting their name on the line with these shit box V6 turbos.

Ooof. That's total bummer. Nice looking truck, BTW.
