So I dropped by Capitol Toyota to pick up an Oil Filter. For the first time I saw an SR5 Tundra on their lot at MSRP.

HOWEVER, this does not appear to apply to TRD Pro models.

 

There are like only 3 MSRP Dealers in the Bay Area that I know of. At least I was able to get my TRD Pro from one of them.

On a side note, I was looking at the Ford Store Morgan Hill since I get emails from them, because I was also looking at an F150 or a Bronco when I was waiting on my Tundra.
I noticed they had like over 60+ Mach E mustangs sitting on the lot, and a pile of F150s as well.

 

I'm in the Bay Area and am starting to shop for a Tundra. Care to share these three? Might help save me some time, thanks.

 

Thanks for the info. I haven't had any interaction with any of those except a little with Marin. They've been pretty receptive and polite. They seem to have a little better inventory over the others. Concord's inventory has been terrible and they have large mark ups on what few they have. Will have to check out Hayward. Thank you.

I bought my 2007 from Concord and they were fine. But yes, they have changed.

I won't pay over MSRP. If I can't find someone that will work with me I'll buy another brand.

I’m located in Washington and I’m looking to buy a Platinum Tundra. Would you be able to share what dealership is marking off these Platinum’s or who your contact is that is offering to sell it under invoice? A majority of the dealers here are selling them over msrp and I have only found 2 that will sell at msrp. Thanks

 

Are dealers still marking these trucks up? I just stopped by my local dealer today and they had about 15 trucks, including at least 2 Capstones, at MSRP less $1,000 rebate.

 

Metro Toyota Cleveland, MSRP, and while ok now, never did any market adjustments during Covid... Solid dealership (never thought I would say that about any dealership), and these guys are a class act! If you are in NEO, first option...

 

This was my deal yesterday! UNDER MSRP!!!

 

Lots of them on the lots here in Florida. I'm currently working down in Orlando for another day, but have passed 3 different dealerships with 10 or more new 2023 Tundras on the lot. Stopped and spoke to a salesman at one dealership, and he said they're starting at MSRP and giving incentives.

 

I was $5600 or so off 2 months ago. There are many more tundra on lots than when I bought mine.

 

Does Toyota allow forum advertisements the way Ford dealers advertise 3-4% under invoice on forums?

I'm considering the 2024 Tundra along with the revised 2024 F150. I'm open to traveling. The markups website isn't really helpful now that it requires a paid subscription.

My Platinum was marked down $3k below MSRP at Hayward. Had a great experience with Sam and even worked the deal over phone/email since I drove up from Bakersfield.

 

Thanks for the insight guys, I was able to close on a Platinum today for a little over $5k under msrp in Washington.

 

Deals are definitely out there now.

 

2024's getting discounted before even hitting the lots. Boy have times changed ha

 

Dealers around here (Arkansas) are not showing any discounts. Perhaps once you start the negotiating they will present the discount but its not upfront. They are simply advertising TSP or MSRP. But seeing these discounts around the country helps us as buyers get a better deal as we start the negotiation from a 2k-4k reduction.

 

One dealer in Utah has a slight advertised discount, the others are posting the SRP. Plenty of trucks in parking lots, a lot different than earlier this year. I'm hoping once the Tacoma is out that buyers will go after that and we will see more discounts in Tundras.

 

Picked up my truck from service. The dealer had 6 Tundras and 1 Terra Sequoia out front. The Terra is not a pretty color IMO. Still not advertising any discounts. End of October is end of sales quarter when any lingering 2023s maybe very negotiable to move. That is why I bought my 2022 last year at $4k off.

 

TRD Pro markups are now in the range of 2000$ at most dealers. Some dealers are asking 5-10K more, however there are others who have 3-5K of dealer added stuff like clajet as compulsary

Opinion on TRD Pro Price - Decent price or no?

The last vehicle I purchased was in 2019 & I usually negotiate larger discounts, but I understand the post covid market has been crazy & I'm not sure what to expect.

I've found 2 dealers with a 2024 TRD Pro with same options & same price. Roughly $74K +$3K in added options like Bed Step, Safe, Bed Liner, Side Steps, etc... Both dealers are offering truck at $75K + tax, tag, title. No dealer fees or extra fees. Basically, they are offering $2000 to $2500 off. Thoughts and opinions?

I also spoke to several dealers still asking $7K - $15K over MSRP, but I immediately eliminated them as an option.

 

If they are offering truck for base price, but has added stuff, then take it 2024s are not available without markups. I got a 2023 (had the exact color we wanted) and it was a model with little extra stuff.

 

Good to see some dealers (not in my area) are starting to offer discounts. Has anyone purchased their Tundra in Vegas?

 

Toyota Temecula is offering me a 2024 platinum hybrid for $3500 off msrp. $75k down to $71,600. No mark up.

Checked with my more local Toyota dealerships in Carlsbad and Escondido, Escondido had a $7500 mark up on theirs.
