My 2023 tundra limited seats fit me like a glove and are super comfy. Infact it was one of the major selling points. ‍♂️ I guess it’s personal preference.

My seats were VERY uncomfortable at first and took some time to loosen up, assuming that the Softex SR5 seats are similar or same

I have a platinum hybrid, I’m having the same problem as the OP. The seat is so hard at the second seam as if you are seating on a piece of plywood.

The SR5 with Softex are very firm which I like; others want soft which to me is tiring on long drives.

It took me longer to dial in my seat settings with it but once I got it I find the seats very comfy. And I am far from a little thing.

I second this, I thought they wouldn’t be comfortable like my previous platinum but I was mistaken. Love my 23’

I'm about 6'2" 280 and find my 23 SR5 TRD Sport seats really comfy. More comfy than the 21 Mercedes GLE 350 I just rid of, and also more comfy than the 19 Silverado 2500 Z71 LTZ I had a few years ago. I like that they are a little more firm.

I have to agree completely ... I'm seriously considering dumping my 22 Platinum because the driver seat is so uncomfortable. As I've posted before, I've now sat in an SR5 without any discomfort. As noted ... it's just like sitting on a steel bar ... I think it's the equipment associated with the 'cooled' seats since the SR5 didn't have them. Just got in from a 3.5 hour drive and thought I was going to die the last 2 hrs. I will NOT be taking the truck on any trips exceeding 30 min any longer until I can work out what to do. Financially it will be a big hit and I know it's a 1st world problem.... but I just can't deal with it any longer. Took it to Toyota and just got blank stares from the Service folks. All my previous Toyota have been very comfortable ... this is just the worst of ANY vehicle I've owned. Not sure what to do ... I'll stop ranting now. I expected more from an almost $70K vehicle.

I had a buddy take his new Lincoln into an upholstery shop and had them remove the leather from the seat, rework the foam and reinstall the leather. He said he has never had a more comfortable seat after doing that. I know a person shouldn't have to spend the money to do that, but its better than have a sore a$$ all the time.
