Hahaha. Nope. First sentence was just an attempt at sarcasm. Nothing more.

Second sentence about Progress is just my opinion.

This truck is finished and whatever is released will face the cold hard truths of capitalism and succeed or fail based on its merits. I have no real emotions about the truck besides mild disappointment from the very minor bits and pieces I've seen.

I gotta say... I personally think the truck in general is a bit ugly. The front looks like a Nissan titan with this dumb headlights that just sit too low in the front of the vehicle imo, the interior looks like any other interior. It has a fancy dash, a screen and a steering wheel with gauges. Id say the silly looking exterior is more of a concern to me than interior; except I have 0 intentions of buying one so all in all I don't care if this truck looks ugly. Which it does.

When will a mfg design a Qi charger that you don’t have to remove the case for the phone to fit. We have two vehicle with useless Qi chargers. And we just have the regular sized phones in an otterbox case.

    Not nearly enough room here!
In a few years, it won't be necessary to look at the road anyway. "Drivers" today need everything done for them and auto builders are pacifying them.

Probably right unfortunately. I love driving my cars, I'll hang onto that as long as I can. When I'm a grumpy old fart and my belly has grown too big to turn the steering wheel, then I might go driverless.

I miss @Cpl_Punishment and @Tundra234 on this thread. I like what each has done on their trucks, their respective experience and decisions. Really sound conclusions and not hampered at all by worries about stepping on toes. I expected them to chime in more on what they would like to have seen changed.

Since I'll never own a TRD Pro, I'll reserve my opinions until I've sat in a new SR5. But I don't need anything fancy in a vehicle and I really don't think the interior of the current Tundra (or even the current or previous GMs) is as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
He would like them to pop up out of the hood.

You guys act like anything but Toyota is trash and it will instantly break down. Which is insane. Ram is a great truck and I want a 2500. I believe in Toyoya and have owned many. This tit for tat is silly. Ram has a superior interior and what they are doing in the Ram line is very very nice. The Hemi and 8 speed are proven reliable. The best part is its forcing Toyota to improve and stay semi relevant in this space.

You don't lose anything as a person having another vehicle brand exceed your preferred brand in certain categories.

Why are we even talking ram or anything else but tundras at all here? I thought this was a tundra group, if I want to know how awesome rams are I will join a ram chat group. I'm sure they are fine trucks but we aren't here to discuss them so it's irrelevant.
