Added a used OEM tonneau trifold yesterday.

Hoping my bed rails are shipped in one piece so I can add those this week.

Salex Console organizer and tray, and tints around Christmas.

    Upgrades for 2021:
    Pop and lock?
    Driver side handle grab handle?
interior LEDs if I can get a dummy-proof set?

Very nice. What does the SX stand for?

The SX is a package option that has the SR5 cabin (center console shifter versus on the steering column; 5 seater - no bench seat, upgraded driver seat and passenger seat) then it Adds a color-keyed front grille, body-color front and rear bumpers and 18-inch black alloy wheels.

so an SR5 with black wheels (apparently they are last years TRDs or something) and color matched grills and bumpers.

Do the Toyora tailgate lock. The quality is better and no cutting into the harness is required. The small extra cost over the Pop&Lock is worth it. Doing the interior leds pick a good quality set that don't have any loose wire terminals. The loose wire can sometimes short in the connector and cause the console light switch to burn out. I used only four 194 leds, two for the console and two for the room light. Screenshot_20201122-084731_Amazon Shopping.jpg

Great recommendation @Ruggybuggy! I definitely plan to use OEM for as much as I can. Thanks for the info.

self install or dealer? I am savvy but not electrical, nor do I feel comfortable pulling up trim on my new truck... yet..

got a good set of instructions for the OEM?

You should attempt the install yourself. Easy to do and only the passenger sill trim and kick panel have to come off. No electrical to do, just plugging and unplugging a couple of connectors under the passenger kick panel. When you buy the OE just ask the parts department to print out a copy of the installation instructions. I dont recall but they may be in the box.
