I’m at 45200 on a MSRP of 52,457. It’s a Limited with TRD, premium package, sunroof, bed liner, and all weather floor liner. It’s 13.8% and that includes $2500 cash. It’s what I want but there are 4 of these in the area including 2 at the dealership. Do you all think there is more in this one?

Guys, please separate the dealer discount and the rebates to handle the dealer.
After rebate is removed on this deal the dealer discount is

    -Dealer discount is $9.05%
    -$2,500 rebate is 4,75%

Please get a 11.4% dealer discount PLUS the rebates you qualify for, in this case $2,500.

There is still 2.4% left on the table or $1,258.

    Bear

I'm jealous of you guys, can't even get one dealer in 100 miles of me to even come down past 5% off of MSRP. Maybe I should look at buying out of state...

    Spray in Bed Liner
All weather floor liners and door sill protectors

    $49,753 window sticker MSRP

    Paid dealer $40,800 + 199.95 doc fee.

    $40,999.95 OTD

Discount included a $3,000 Toyota rebate.

TTL is paid separately at the DMV here in Missouri.

Two other dealers In KC were $500 lower, but went with this truck due to color and odometer mileage. One of these dealers has this price right on their website.

I ended up taking this deal. I worked 3 dealers against each other and this was the best I could get. The others basically said to take that one. It was ultimately 48k OTD.

Hey Guys! I'm new here, coming from a 2016 TRD Tacoma...and stepping up to a Tundra...I'm in San Diego...what kind of discounts can I expect on a Crewmax 4x4 Limited in San Diego?

How much discount would you require, for a new, but dealer owner driven truck? Looking at a new 2020 Limited Crewmax, but with 1900 miles on it. Never been titled.

What a “good” price is depends too much on your local market, but as for the extra discount for the 1900 miles, I think most leases charge $0.15-$0.25/mile for mileage overage. So, $0.20 x 1900 = $380.

I’d ask for $400 below what a good deal for a new truck without the miles would be.

Good Morning all, just came here from the TacomaWorld forums - considering upgrading from a 2019 Red Tacoma Sport to a 2020 Red Platinum Tundra 4x4. MSRP is shown at $55,875. They told me via email they are offering $7k off MSRP if you use their financing. What would be a good price to shoot for on this truck? Any recommendations? Thanks!

I think it depends on their interest rate vs. your CU/bank. I know times are different, but I would maybe shoot for at least 15% off msrp depending on how many trucks/dealers are in your area.

Got my Crewmax 4x4 with SR5 Upgrade and TSS Off-Road Black package yesterday (July 13, 2020).

    Advertised price: $49,4××
    Their initial offer: $45,000

I got them to give me $3,100 discount on top of the $3000 and $1500 rebates. So total discount of $7,600.

The final price: $41,8xx + taxes, title, and fees.

    I'm in Houston.

Is the $7k all dealer discount or is part of that a rebate from Toyota?

Yes, it is all a dealer discount financed through Southeast Toyota

Well, that’s a better dealer discount than I got in March (but I got a good rebate, too).

You may want to check out other states with rebates. I bought from a dealer a few hundred miles away to get a rebate (almost $3k) Toyota was not offering in my home state.

Oh, one more thing. Are you trading in your Tacoma? If you are, you can’t tell if the deal is good without knowing what they are offering on your trade.

Yes I am trading in as well. MSRP on my Tacoma was $39700. I got it out the door for $27,900. Trade in value on KBB shows 29-32ish.

I bought a 2020 Double Cab SR5 Tundra TRD Sport plus I think is what the option is in the US. No nav ,but has car play etc and a trailer brake system,
Purchased last week for $51K Canadian dollars before freight & Taxes etc. That’s currently $37,500 US dollars.
Before trade and a $4K cash rebate.

Hi everyone - Seems like a tough market for lower-trim Tundras right now, at least here in New York. Spoke to a few dealerships around me and most only have a couple SR5 models, if even that! Lots of Platinum Tundras left but the cheaper models are very low on inventory apparently.

I did find the CrewMax SR5 that I like, comes with SR5 leather package, spray-on bedliner and the all-weather liners/door sill protectors. That's it! MSRP is $45256 and they were only willing to drop to $44K (before the $2500 incentive currently being offered). Obviously this well below the 11.2% off of MSRP that many/most are getting it seems from reading the couple different threads here. I peaked at the paperwork and it had "dealer invoice" listed for $42500, but I also was $600+ for "advertisement" and that also included the $1500+ delivery fee all included to get to that $42500 dealer invoice. Not sure what to make of that...

My question is, given the little inventory, do I go for it? seems the $2500 incentive is only good through early August from what I've read (maybe they'll extend it?). My fear is with COVID there would not be new inventory coming out for a while and would miss out on the incentive.

For anyone with experience how its gone down in the past, how often is such incentive offered each year?

EDIT: They had one 2019 CrewMax SR5 in stock but apparently the $2500 cannot be applied towards that, so it's cheaper to get a 2020.... Who comes up with these crazy decisions!

Please help a guy decide! Thanks!

You can try to get the Platinum. The reason there is so many, because most think it is too expensive and don't even think of starting from there, but you would be surprise how much you may be able to bring down the price, especially with that many in the lot. You may be able to negotiate one within few grand more than an SR5.

I am in southern CA. The best quotes I can get for SR5s are $4500 off a $48K truck and $3000 off a $42K trunk, including the $2500 rebate...No even close to the 11.8% off plus rebate. I will wait a couple of months since I don't need a truck right away.

No one can predict the inventory or rebate. Last Dec there was $4K rebate for the Tundra 2019 model.
