2021 Tundra Factory remote start stopped working

    Fair enough, but just to clarify you don't have to pay with the free trial. The Master consent has 3 things it covers, Remote Connect, Safety Connect, and Service Connect (not service connect communication to dealership).

    If you truly don't want any data being shared but want a remote start, only way I can think of would be an aftermarket remote start. Maybe there's a way to hack via Techstream, similar to using Forscan in Ford vehicles, to somehow enable the key fob remote start without any of the data stuff, but I've not looked into it.

    I have the same issue w my 2020 Crewmax. Just tried the above as instructed buy Snert and work flawless. At least I'll have 90 days to determine If I need it. Thank you for taking the time to do this post.

    2021 White Tundra TRD PRO
    I just today 4/21/25 called toyota connect services and ask them to disconnect my dcm module. If i decide to get remote start for the winter i may just go with a aftermarket one. NO more sending toyota any information lol. they know these tundras get 13-14mpg hahhahah...
