Same problem just happened again I tried to "fix" it by getting out of the truck locking the door with the handle and doing a remote start button sequence still the same

Second time I tried doing it sitting in the driver's seat and that didn't work either. Just accessory mode came on.

I turn off accessory mode hit the unlock button on the fob and was going to wait it out the 12 or 15 minutes just sitting in the driver's seat fob on the console about to hop back on this thread to see if there were any updates

About 90 seconds later the doors is locked on their own (it's possible they locked them immediately unlocked I wasn't paying that much attention) just like when you don't open the door after hitting the unlock button on the fob. Which was odd it's not supposed to do that if the keys in the truck but it let me start it right up.

My only guess is some sort of interruption in the security handshake between the fob and the truck only happening when you mess up the remote start button sequence from the fob or repeat it right after a failed attempt

LOL, well i joined the factory remote start issue club. Funny thing is i owned my 2020 Tundra for 1.5 years and just found out i had the factory remote start. Someone had told me about it and it worked, well this morning i had the same issue everyone else had so i took the wifes car to work cause i was late and didn't know what to do? So should it start up when i get home later like normal or do i have to try and disconnect the battery to reset the computer ? Now i wish i didnt find out about the remote start installed in the truck cause of this issue ?

All the Toyota push to start vehicles do not have key take over which is why it shuts off when the doors are opened / unlocked with the key.

Doesn't really matter if its an aftermarket remote start or the factory.

I would recommend not wasting precious fossil fuels warming the truck ;)...bundle up, get in, and give it some work to do.

Had a lot of issues with my 2020 Pro remote start too...Had it to the dealer a few times...no results...there is no current "fix" so there's not a SB or recall out. After soooo many attempts to make it work I tried different speeds at pushing the lock button. Success at last when I pushed the lock button as fast as the lights blinked. Hope this works for all of you.
