The Pro fever has hit me. I have a ‘19 Limited with 7500 miles, but might have to eat a hefty amount if I traded it in. I just really like the 2020 options and the Pros suspension and such. Damn you 2020’s

+1, this is their new way to make money. Toyota of Rockwall has a ripoff package that goes for $899. One big piece of it is nitrogen. I tell them to take that crap off or I am walking. When i bought my daughter's Rav4 at a Honda dealer they told me that dealer add ons are the only way they were making money. I called BS and said here is my offer take it or leave it. They took it and left the add ons one of which was windshield protection and easy to remove.

Yeah the worst part is when you're going to sign all the financial papers and they try to tac on all this extra shit (paint protection, rim protection, windshield, the list goes on and on.) They showed me my payment with none of that stuff added on and with all of it added on and I laughed and told them absolutely not. From the moment you walk into a dealership until the second you leave, you have to be on your guard because they are constantly trying to find ways to make more money from you.

I got a couple extra thousand off my truck making 2 dealers match each others prices. You have to go into a dealership knowing exactly what you want for the price you want and they can either bend to your will, or they aren't getting a sale.

Yep. When I got to finance when buying the Tundra they tacked on a $600 fee. I asked "what's this". Finance dude says "oh we charge everybody that". I replied with something like "well I am not everybody" and proceeded to get out of the chair. He took it off.

    do it!
I had a 19 trd off road sport i freaking love my pro it’s the best truck I’ve owned in that class bar none. I was going to buy a 2021 pro this year coming up but I’m building a shop so the old lady put the kibosh to that. LOL I’ll have to suffer through for a year or so. But no doubt you’ll enjoy the difference in the ride especially it’s a beast I can’t wait for more power more power must have!

Not bad considering that’s about 1200 just for the steps and the liner

That’s my goal. I’m not optimistic. Maybe after Feb when the new tundra is supposed to be announced?

Well, I’m not in no hurry so maybe the deal will find me. Hell I’ll even wait until the 2021s show up and grab a 2020 then

Hey, if you got it do it. If yours is a 4X4, I can't understand why you want to change and eat a lot of depreciation on the front end of both vehicles. My comment is that yes there will be Gen IV made in 2021. But it will be the 22 model year as in late 2021. My new to me 2015 SR5 with 2 upgrade packages should last me well into the foreseeable future.

Well as of this writing I am now the proud owner of a white 2020 Pro. The 19 Limited served me well for a short time, but man is this upgrade awesome. Got her for 51.7 before ttl. And the most surprising thing of this charade- my wife negotiated the deal BY HERSELF. She wanted to surprise me for my birthday coming up. Cheers!

Definitely a keeper! You know you got a good deal when the finance guy says ‘I wouldn’t have sold it this cheap’. Lol! I tried getting predator steps thrown in, but they also gave me a great trade in price (38k), so they let me get the steps at cost. I’m good with it.

Knew I had a good deal as well when other dealerships were telling me "OK go buy it from that guy then" when I mentioned the quote I had.

Just found it funny how many times we were told how good the deal is. I tried to let him know his dealership isn’t the only one on the planet that sells them at that price. The ‘internet’ salesman that took over pissed my wife off to no end, and that isn’t easy to do. Told her he wouldn’t sell it at that price, but her original salesman (who she loved) would? We had salesman in the same dealership fighting over the deal.....

I do not have a pro, would likely get a Voodoo blue one if I were. But there is a dealer near me that is selling a 2020 MGM Pro for a reasonable price. MSRP $54,375. Discount of $3,190. Selling for $51,185 (not including tax/tag/dealer fees).

Congrats man. Sounds like a solid deal. Are you prepared for constantly looking back at your truck when you walk away from it? I may or may not be guilty of this. I plead the 5th.
