Hey guys I'm sure its been asked, but to be clear- I can't put the 2020' trd sequoia grille on a 2015 as is? Have to go this route or do a front end conversion?

You’ll have to make modifications. Your grill is one piece that all goes up with the hood. These are two piece like the current Tundras.

Aren't all the 2008 to current Sequoia's front end the same?

Not quite. Our 2012 has the grill that lifts up with the hood like a gen 2 Tundra. Our 2019 has a bulge and grill that separate like the gen 3 Tundras. Headlights are different after 2018 also.

My understanding was that I could buy the 2019 led headlights, the lower trim piece, and harness and it would fit the 2012 Sequoia. This has led me to believe that the front end is interchangeable between say the 2008 and 2019. Looks like I had the wrong understanding?

This is a 2018 Toyota Sequoia it seem that the grill is attached the same way as a 2nd gen Tundra.

Finally got the grille. The black has metallic in there so it is a bit different than the non metallic black I have. Also, the two piece design is a pain in the arse but otherwise, direct fit for the 2008 and on.

I've been looking to get something a bit bigger than my 3rd Gen 4Runner however the Sequoia front end is just a turn off.

This however would be a welcome refresh. I'll be sure to check out your build for details. Thanks!

Hell even without the TRD grille the new Sequoia lights are an awesome look.

Very true, and they look better than the aftermarket options I'd seen too

It appears these can be retro fitted onto older Sequoias with the addition of a wiring harness which is awesome.

Looks awesome. Can you elaborate a bit more on why the design was a PITA?

There's like tabs and clips that you need to like up perfectly and getting that lined up was a pain

It’s only money, there will be plenty more where you got it from. You can’t take it to the grave so might as well spend it and enjoy it now.
