Hey guys, new Tundra here. Was minutes away from pulling the trigger on a new 6" lift when I learned of the dreaded TSS problems. "Clean Sensor" message came on at 225 miles in the rain which I understand can be expected, went off after a few miles. This has me questioning whether or not I want to do the lift now after reading many posts of denied warranties on the TSS because of mods. I wanted the BDS 7" Coil-over but they haven't tested it on a 2020 yet, I wonder if this is the reason.

Seems most of the posts about this were in early 2019, has Toyota corrected these problems? Has anyone lifted a 2019/2020 with no problems? Considering a shorter lift now so I don't have to cut the cross member in case things go bad with the idiot lights and I have to remove it.

I had a OME 612 set installed on my 2019. The dealer had to reprogram the TSS system on mine it shut itself off. Was lift related. No big deal the dealership got it all programed again, its good to go.

Some folks have the issue, like me, others do not. Its a roll of the dice. Currently the TSS system works as it should, theres been a few times weather related where I got the yellow warning light, system not available, but those were mornings with heavy frost, and once the sensors warmed up the yellow light turned off.

As long as your truck isnt completely “level” and you maintain a little bit of rake, you should be fine.

Theres plenty of people on here with 2018+ tundras (TSS) with lifts and no problems.

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be waiting awhile now anyway, kinda set on the BDS/Fox kit which isn't available yet for the 2020.
