I bought the car at 36 so my true "idiot behind the wheel" days were behind me. For the most part I'm a tame driver, even when i was in the mustang. I enjoyed the exhaust more than anything because it was badass and wasn't illegal to enjoy.

But...I had rules about when, where, and what was in front of, behind, and on the opposite side of the interstate when I pushed the speed. No one in sight anywhere on the interstate. Clear weather. Warm tires.. No wind. No curves. I never broke my rules. On 2 lane roads it was the same but I also didn't do it if there were any houses along the road. I was very careful.

There's a section of I-64 on my commute where it's common to see no one around. That's the speed spot. No one was at risk but me.

You also have to keep in mind that the modern pony cars are light years ahead of their predecessors. They are literally built to be driven hard and fast. If you haven't driven a modern sportscar you're in for a real treat. I'm excited for you...lol

That s an interesting point. No fun in having big muscle, and not flexing it once in a while. Under the right circumstances, ie; a track, or desolate road, why not? but I think it all comes down common sense choises. Unfortunately some learn by their mistakes, and on the road those mistakes can lead to death.

This is the standard tranny in the 2020 camaro. They have been around for a while. It came in the 07 vette.

Edit: I should read a little more closely. The tranny in that link is actually an after market version of the MN6 Tremic 6 speed.
    This is correct one.

While test driving the 1SS few days ago I noticed the rear view mirror was actually a video feed of a rear mounted camera. It showed a wide angle view of what was behind me. It was actually bad ass. I think it s part of the technology package.

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
    Rex,
One of my Mustang buddy’s came by in his 2012 GT Shelby today to give me a ride, it’s a stick.
The other Camero owners have manual Transmissions also, one with the ZL1/w 1LE package has upgraded to 3 driving modes, one being track mode 650 RHP
8/ 10 speed automatic transmission I believe is the counter part to the manual trans.
Anyway here’s the Mustang motor that came on at 3000 -6000 rpm range, and the sounds it made.

Im thinking that with an active rev matching transmission drifting is out of the question:monocle:

That's awesome! That will definitely help with those blind spots.

I don t think dealerships like to do factory orders. Has anyone done this? I m not having luck with these jokers. They keep putting me off, and coming up with excuses why it s not moving forward.

With Chevy, it seems to depend on the dealer, from what I've heard.
