    Hey all,
Trying to get myself into a 2019 tundra crew max. Looking for some advice on pricing. I know there is a thread already and have read it but wondering about my particular situation. Not many 2019s left in my region in the color I want. Dealers realize this and are not moving much from price. I found a used 2019 trd pro with 6k miles. Chevy dealer wants 46.7k for it. Seems pretty high to me considering people have reported getting brand new off the lot for 46-47k. I was going to offer 45k out the door which would be around 42,xxx for the vehicle. I know it never hurts to ask but I just wanted to go into the situation with some input from you guys and maybe a little leverage on the dealer. Thanks for the help!

I told salesman I could get this vehicle for around there asking price. Maybe just a little white lie but I’m sure I could if I wait a few weeks and travel for it.

Also does anyone know if 2 year Toyota care transfers with vehicle or do you have to be original owner

My 19 pro was 49 plus TTL

you can always offer something and see what happens. Worst is they say no or counter. Gotta play the game sometimes

Toyotacare is tied to the vehicle I believe

Definitely play the game. Vehicles are not moving right now. And it’s already a year old 2020 sitting on the lots right now.

Toyotacare goes with the truck [transfers to the 2nd owner].

Those pros are so rare that it is hard to work them down much ... although I would definitely try.

Do a regional search for the price of pros in your area with similar miles and see what they are going for ... cargurus.com, for example.

Either, low ball them or give them the price you'll pay and refuse to dicker. I'd go with the 2nd option, since those trucks are in high demand.

Offer them $45,000 [if that is what you want/are willing to pay for it]. If they say no, ask them, "Do you want me to walk?":D

    YMMV

They should be easily moving on the price for a 19...they are losing money as it sits there.
Tell them there is a different color you want more at a dealership close by but you are comparing prices first blah blah.
It’s exactly opposite tho...that’s why the dealerships have to lower the price, because it’s not the color you want or options etc...
That’s exactly what I did on my wife’s platinum sequoia..not the color we wanted and i just bitched at them. Told them there was a white one at the dealership down the street..30 mins later we got an 18 platinum sequoia in September 2019 for $60,240..MSRP was $69,900.........

Thanks for the info guys! I’d like to get this used 2019 because it is the exact truck I am looking for. I might be a little ambitious (or crazy) at 45k out the door but I will try. If not there are a few 2019 platinums I found I will go after next.

I almost went pro until I read on the forum that if I plan to mod it and I am now do not go pro unless it’s color I want. I went platinum so I have all the luxury and I’ll add my suspension mods and tires.

Be patient, there's deals to be had. I paid $35k for my 2019 Limited Double Cab. Had 1,570 miles on it when I picked it up. Also had several extras already on it.

Welp onto option 2. I offered 46k otd and they said that wasn’t possible for them. Must have actually gave a really nice trade value on it. I am going to reach out about a 2019 platinum I had my eyes on.
