Let me know how you like and get the full lift? I was going with the Eibach, but think I would rather go with coilovers that are adjustable.

Will do @LiftMeUp . The Boss Coilovers arrive this week so I will probably install the following week. I will post the install on both this thread and my build thread.

Installed my @Toytec Lifts BOSS kit and SPC UCA’s today. Turned out great!!! The back is lower in the picture do to the stock tires and stock suspension already loaded in the bed. Also got about 3 3/4 inches in the front. Coilovers were installed at preset settings.

Wow! I wouldn't expect it to be that low. About how many pounds is in the bed with the stock wheels?

@Navy Jumper there was about 350 plus pounds in the bed plus the driveway was at an angle. Unloaded it sets 1 1/4 inches higher in the rear. I tow a 5000 pound boat and did not want to be swatting in the rear too much. Also wanted to keep a little rake for the cruise control radar and collision sensors.

If your getting 1 1/4” rake, that means your 1.5” shackles gave you 2.5” lift right?

Just for example. Say your stocks measurements are 22” front and 24” rear.

After lift front is 3 3/4 so puts you at 25 3/4”. So you added a 1.5” shackle for a total of 25.5”. Unless your rear had 3” of rake in the beginning

@Fish2eat88 I believe I had a little under 3 inches on rake to start. If I would have put the shackles at the middle setting or 1 inch setting I would probably be around even or still about 1/4 inch higher in the rear. The suspension is still settling a little bit not bad at all. Anyone who is looking at the Toytec BOSS lift kit you will get what they say if not a little more!!

@Fish2eat88 your truck looks good. I was on the fence between the 295/70/18 or the 285/75/18. I think both look good!!

@LiftMeUp I have not adjusted the Coilovers yet. It appears to be pretty straight forward. Tire off, jack up the front end a bit, and use the included spanner wrench.

Yeah, really seems quick and easy just wondering. I guess if may take a few times or measurements after it settles to dial it in just right if you want to get rid of the Toyota lean.

Let me ask you this. I know after installing the new coilovers you need an alignment right away. But just looking through the PDF of installation and came across this at the last step"
    14. After installation an alignment must be performed by an experienced technician. It is recommended that you have the vehicles alignment checked immediately after installing this kit and after getting new tires.

After new tires? I understand changing the suspension up front but that's a new one to me.

@LiftMeUp After changing out the suspension you need to get an alignment. No alignment needed to just change tires but I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm putting on the new coilovers and seeing the clearance to determine tires, but didn't want to get another alignment unless they have a deal where it's lifetime alignments.

    @Fish2eat88 ,
Are you running wheel spacers on that setup?
Great stance, looks good with the TRD wheels.

No wheel spacers. The 285/75 made the truck much higher. Parking next to tacoma’s with 6-7” lifts, literally we are same height lol

Had a little vibration from a dead stop. @Coachbuilder1 carrier bearing drop kit fixed that right up. 15 minute install with a jack stand!!!

Thought it was only for when going 2.5+ lift in the rear that one is needed? Did yours visually have a slight angle on it? Ill try pay more close attention when starting from a stop. Where did you feel your vibration?

@Fish2eat88 I have done some research and some trucks do get a slight shuttering or vibration under a 2.5 inch lift in the rear. I could feel the shutter or vibration from the back of the cab going down into the rear tires when accelerating from a dead stop. When I looked there did seem to be a slight angle but nothing crazy. The coachbuilder carrier bearing drop kit I got was for 0-2 lift in the rear.

The spring rates in the kits were 600lb spring rates so people with 4x4 weren’t getting the advertised 3” of lift up front

I don't remember how far back the issue goes so you may just email them and ask. Eibach is suppose to be developing springs to fix it. I ended up just buying different coilovers and sending the Toytec ones back. I went with the FatBobs Garage 3" coilovers and the ride quality is better than the Eibachs so far.
