Pretty sure more 2WD trucks sold than 4X4s......depends on region....

MSRP for any Toyota is not a “Deal”! However you gotta give it to Toyota in building the hype and restricting pro parts to the aftermarket. Making the buyer feel exclusive....

5k dealer markup for the trd pro version? Just but a normal truck and spend 5k on icon shocks and be happier

Bought my Tacoma in Denver, I live in Tucson. Some dealers just try to stick it to you and they suck like in Tucson. Look at the dealers in larger cities that have competition. They may even be able to sell you one off your local lot. I drove over 10 house but, saved thousands. BTW, I was in Denver for work, so already had a plane ticket.

11F90B32-B5A5-40FE-AC22-0C99A1A3F9B7.jpg I shopped for a white Tundra TRD Pro literally all over California. I found that in southern CA they go for as much as 10K over MSRP and never less than 5K over. In northern CA they are mostly 5K over MSRP with some at 10K over. I was about to give up when I finally found two dealerships that charge just the MSRP. Toyota of Walnut Creek and Toyota of Santa Rosa. I got mine just after Christmas and really love it. For reference the ford raptor sells for 20K over MSRP around here.

Costco didn’t help with my Tundra, my parents new Highlander and our new Lexus GX. I was able to negotiate a few thousand cheaper the old fashioned (knowing hold back and rebates, end of month, best time of year, etc.) way than Costco. It may be a regional thing where it works some places and others not.

Some of us do. Ours won't be off a roadway that's not paved in its future. CrewCab and the reduced load capacity (4WD vs 2WD) was more important for me. The last 4WD I had was a Jeep Wrangler and it never left the paved roadway. If it's icy enough here (East Texas) for a 4wheel drive it's to icy to be out due to the other drivers that think a light snow is the end of the world and they just HAVE to go get something in case they get snowed in.

All TRD PRO’s within 500 miles of me are being offered at MSRP. 51K to 53K . With a few exceptions a little higher. Good luck. D

Good price on Pro would be MSRP and absolutely NO surcharge. Your trade in value...about 38 to 40K. They, the dealer, like to make at least 10% profit on a trade so they can get 44K retail or more retail.

I don't think the Pro is worth MSRP so hopefully since it's been on the lot almost 2 months they will go down. If not, no big deal. I love my truck.

When I bought my new 2018 left over SR5 CM three weeks ago......
Dealer had a Pro, we actually were going to buy that truck, but we weren't keen on color, no added costs or bull@#$%, actually got them down 2k on cost.
Really liked Barcelona Red color, dealer found a 2018 sitting on another dealers lot in Pittsburgh, had options we wanted, got it for 5K off, no brainer to me.

I’d be driving one if the interior wasn’t an SR5 with good looking leather. It doesn’t match the price tag. I didn’t need all of the bells and whistles from the higher trims (I am fine with Limited) just wanted heated seats and dual climate control.

I went with the limited also and just added the trd pro suspension, best of both worlds.

I see that sticker is at Camelback Toyota. Every dealer in the Phoenix has the market adjustment except Big Two Toyota we don't believe in that unfair markup. Because we don't we rarely have them in stock and there's usually a wait

My TRD WAS MSRP $49600 THEY SOLD IT TO me for $42600 2.9 app and it took me 40 minutes to pick it out do f&I and I was done!!
Of course we had bought a TRD Tacoma last year so that may have been why they made us a deal.

Went in this morning. With trading in my 2018 Sport they wanted me to pay $18,000. Basically they were going to give me $34,000 trade in. After I laughed my ass off I left.

I started looking at 2020 Tundra TRD Pro models last week and am worried about the COVID supply shortage affecting my ability to find a decent deals on a 2020 TD Pro :-/ - I saw this post and checked out Costco's site submitted the information and they said:
"Unfortunately, none of the dealerships in your area meet our strict pricing requirements for the model you selected.
Thank you for choosing to connect with the following dealership to receive the great Costco experience. Although the model you selected doesn't have low, prearranged Costco member pricing, our specially trained dealers are dedicated to providing superior service and consistent professionalism."

Am I really going to have to pay MSRP during this supposed COVID economic downturn... wasn't expecting this at all!! Yikes! Thoughts from anyone else in the know or looking elsewhere for a 2020 TRD Pro right now...?

Bought my Pro for $4000 under sticker on July 4th weekend, yes there are not too many Tundra's out there. The dealer I got mne from has zero, although the dealer down the street has 3 Pro's today of course that dealer has them for 58-50K they add crazy dealer tint and stuff for add on's but they do say make offer . This is Texas your area could be different. I hope this helps. May want to go to the TRD Pro part of the forum and look at price paid for a Pro.
