Just ordered the 2019 pro grille for my 2018 1794. Too much chrome for me. I was going to get another Platinum (have a 2013, soon drives it now), but didn't want the black interior. I probably would have kept the OEM grille if that was the case, but it looks great both ways. Any issue with the TSS at all? I just got the recall notice, but I want to change the grille before I bring it in.

Both are awesome but the bottom one spells out toyota so i actually like that one better. Reminds me of the terrorist using toyota trucks to mount heavy machine guns and stuff. They all have toyota spelled out.

Hi and welcome, I use my original tss sensor, all you have to do is transfered from the original grill to the new one, and make sure to disconnect the battery while doing it .

Looks great, also from So Cal. Mind if I ask what you paid and where you ordered it? I have a ‘19 Sport as well.

yeah sounds like a good option too, for some reason I can't get passed the toyota round emblem on the sport, I was looking for a more aggressive look.

Thanks !!! I got it at my local dealer, Toyota of El Cajon, in SD CA. the grill and garnish sensor cover was $630. it came in my original trim color and ready to be install. I heard I got a good deal since they usually sell the whole set for around $800-900 $.

Disconnect the battery? They tell you to do that? Did you lose all your setup info, memory stuff, radio locked out, etc? :)

yes, the tech from the dealer told me to do it. is not mandatory , mainly a precaution to protect the ECU. :lalala:. in my case it only reset the clock nothing else.

wheels I went with the fuel Krank 20'' x 9 with Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/60/20 I choose that combo mainly because I drive city most of the time, and I don't really get along with road noise while driving. no lift yet , I'm only leveling the truck tomorrow using the Bilstein 5100 all around.

Do the Bilstein 5100 alone give you 2 inches of lift on the front, and what did you have to do to the rear to make it level?

You can get up to 2 1/2” lift in the front and 1” lift in the back. In my case i didn’t do anything, except replaced my oem shocks for the 5100’ in the back. The front they used the middle setting to get that leveled look. Best investment I don’t regret it , my tss was not affected meaning im still under my dealer warranty. Also i have space to install bigger tires if decided.

Thanks for the info. I will post pics of my truck after the transformation (de chroming). Just ordered grille, hood bulge, bumper caps, working on lift and tires. Any idea where to get new emblems for the side and back? Good looking truck Cali

I like the sport grille better on your truck, it accents the color MGM very well. Just my two cents.
