I didn't want those payments either, which is why I wrote them a check for the balance. I got this piece of paper in return. Feels GOOD.

Having the title to my truck in the safe makes it drive SO much better. And trips to the gas pump don't bother nearly as much either.

    Update from the OP:

I've negotiated down to the numbers below:

    - 2019 TRD Pro: $47,000
    - 2020 Platinum: $46,700

    Thoughts?

This is on YOU brother. It all depends on what you want in a truck. The Platinum probably has more bells & whistles. But it's hard to beat the suspension and exhaust that comes with the PRO. Speaking for myself of course, I personally don't like chrome, so the PRO works better for me.

I'm definitely leaning Platinum. I'll de-chrome the few remaining things on it.

I’m trying to figure out how loud you guys turn your stereos up. Guess I’m officially in the old fart category if the JBL system sucks.

Pro all day long for me based on those numbers. If I had the platinum, I'd need to swap out wheels and all the chrome. I'll take the Pro suspension and exhaust over the platinum bells/whistles any day.

I’d go with the Platinum, the push button start with proximity key so I never take it out of my pocket is awesome, heated seats, remote start, also awesome. You can get close to the PRO with some suspension upgrades and a @dirtydeeds exhaust. Just color match a few things off the platinum and you’d be money

Having owned a Platinum for 4 years, there’s no way I’d buy a PRO over platinum. My aftermarket wheels, tires, and exhaust are better than what a stock PRO offers. And as far as chrome on the truck, it’s just the door handles and mirror caps. Those are cheap and easy to replace with color matched parts. The JBL system is fine by the way. I did spend $200 for an upgraded box with 10” sub that really brought the system to life.

There's no debating this. It all boils down to one thing, Personal Preference. If everyone's taste was the same, this world would a very boring place. Can I get an AMEN?

I’d take a 2020 TRD Pro for $47K. Wrote a check for my ‘19 Sport, so of course have the title in hand. I’m sure I’d make out ok on the trade and pay a few K to get the title for a ‘20 Pro.

Go with the platinum. I bought mine 2 years ago and then installed kings and 35s. Couldn't be happier. Also, these trucks are Big and all the BSM and front and rear sensors really help. Love the cool seats. didn't think I would use them, but man they are great and are on always for me. I have basically turned my platinum into a pro for me. But if you want to keep it stock you would get a better resale value on your pro I think.

I mean it’s as nice as the platinum I don’t think it has more than pro.
Plus it’s a pro not a platinum pro cuz there’s no such tundra..
