Are the tail lights on the 2020 (I have the Platinum) the same dimensions, size & fit of the previous 3rd Generations?
Looking at a set of smoke replacements but their fitment data only goes to 2019. I can't discern any difference externally, but may be some internal issues.

There are, from what I can tell, a non-brand specific set on both eBay ($109) and Amazon ($126). They are the same thing.
Willing to consider options. Just getting into this modification thing. Traded up on a 2016 all OEM black TSS. Not crazy about the chrome headlights either.
Looking at a replacement set of black rims & tires down in Houston. But …. being patient about all.

I have a 2020 Tundra. I am running the OEM tail lights and I have swapped out the brake and reverse bulbs for LED. I really want everything to be LED including the turn bulbs. I get hyper flash with a 921 LED replacement. On my 2006 tundra, I just swapped out my turn signal relay for one that was load resistant for LEDs. I don’t want to T-tap into my wiring harness so I can retain the warranties. I would like to stay all plug and play for everything. 921 plug and play LED load resistors that I can find do not have a twist in socketed end. (I will insert and image of ones that I purchased and found out don’t work.)97FFEF26-9B45-4BE5-8E18-817909E20C7A.jpg

Does anyone know of a fix for the LED hyper flash problem for the 921 rear turn bulb?

T tapping your turn signals at the taillights isn’t going to effect your warranty.

It would affect the warranty for anything they can show the modification caused. For example, if he went back to the stock lights an had issues they could potentially deny the warranty claim on them.

That’s a farrrr stretch. A resistor does nothing but add a small load resistance to the circuit, the same as any filament bulb would do. If it isn’t popping fuses, it’s doing absolutely no harm.

I wholeheartedly agree. I just wouldn't put it past them to fight it. Still, consumers are protected, and if you just drop the Magnusson-Moss name a lot of times they cave. They use fear tactics to get out of it at the dealership level.

My only option on 2019 was to have a shop solder inline resistors for me. Lights on my truck have been running fine ever since.

I bought the vled resistor kit and soldered them in, then silicone around solder joints taped and wire loomed. It’s water tight and can’t even tell I was in there.

I ended up purchasing these tail lights from Amazon and I really like them. They are extremely bright and come with load resistors wired in. I just 3M taped the resistors to the inside of the tail light cavity.
