I'm also wondering how the new Fox suspension is. If it turns out to be rebuildable and has a good mix of on and off road performance I might pick up a set of used take offs. Otherwise I'll save up for some ADS suspension.

This is what I fear (note "fear" is not because I plan on buying a new truck any time soon, but for the state of pickup trucks as a whole for consumers) is more low displacement forced induction engines. I disliked the new Taco engine when I first saw it went down in displacement (granted it's still NA), but coming from the 4.0 you have to look at the power/torque curves and everything increased in RPM. For a large truck I don't believe this is a good thing, I have driven an Eco boost F150 but honestly it was down slow unpaved property trails and have no good comparison to make. Obviously this isn't the manufacturer's fault but EPA restrictions forcing it, now that I've experienced it I don't know if I could go back to a non-V8 engine, they're too cool!

Oh, and DCFTMFW, kinda sucks no long beds on the new Pros!

I agree, it is still better to buy an SR5 and upgrade it for the money

That's a real bummer...I'm still not down for the Pros then. Not that much more $ for them to make the leather seats heated. I'm a whiny millennial and I get that, but I'm not down for cold ass leather seats all winter long. The leather seats in my Limited are cold af in the winter mornings (I have parked outside in the past). Idk. I'm just not in the market for nor interested in buying a SR5 with suspension.

My leather seats are cold as f**k in the winter months, I just wear Carharts with long underwear problem solved. I love my Pro and will hold onto it for a long time. Plus it’s paid for.

I’ve never liked the Voodoo Blue color. I love the look of a clean black truck though. But here in West Texas there’s just so much dust and black is just too hard to maintain. That why I love my Cement.

Wait, the Pro seats in the US aren't heated? They are in Canada, or at least the model I sat in they were and the cloth seats in my TRD Off Road are heated as well

Anyone know if BSM / RCTA / Parking Sonars are available options on US models? Dealer I spoke to said none are available on the '19 TRD Pro.

Nope, not heated in Pro leather or the TRD Off road cloth seats for the US spec. No moon roof for CrewMax US spec either.

Thats another real deal breaker for me on the current Pro, US spec at least. I’d be surprised if they didn’t bring those for the 2019, but you never know.

I gotta think the '19 pro will be a sport with different shocks.

personal opinion is they'll need to do more to differentiate the sport from the pro besides a suspension now that the sport is color coded and such. not to mention the new pro grill looks awful with that plastic piece under the Toyota letters.

cannot agree with this more. If I were to pay that much money for a truck, i want butt warmers & an AC system that i never have to touch. I just don't understand the TRD Pro boner that some people have. Sure, it's a nicer grill.......

it won't be a nicer grill with their solution for the TSS nonsense. the standard SR5 black grill will look better.

Whoa....NO double-cab? Had not heard that and am VERY relieved I have the '17....apparently the last of those in a Pro. After 1 1/2 years ad 24k still love to drive the truck every day!

I like the comment some wrote. I am sure the truck will sell well. To bad the DC is gone but most people buy the CM. I plan to hold onto my Pro for a long time.
From some reviews I seen the Fox suspension not much more noticeable then previous bilsteins. I did hear you can rebuild Fox suspension, that a plus. I will replace mine with ADS.

Reviews of the new fox suspension? Please share. How can there be reviews if the 19 TRD Pro isn't even on the lots yet?

Watched it on Pickup truck and SUV talk on youtube. Toyota took a bunch of car review reporters on the rim rock trail. It was mentioned the suspension wasn't much different than bilstein setup. TFL did the whole segment as well, nothing was really said about the Fox suspension.

Bang for the buck its a good deal. But still cant stomache $51-52K for the new Tundra PRO. Being so close in pricing as a base Raptor. The ONLY ONLY thing the Tundra has going, is it's reliability. Everything else is lacking.

When i SC'd the Tundra however, it was a mother fucking beast. Pound for pound, the SC Tundra would rip new raptors a new one. Even with a tune it's be close. My rapturd seems slow compared to the tundra. Brakes are not as good as the tundra too.

Good luck if anyone think that they will be able to find a 2019 TRD Pro for as little as $55K. They usually run more in price than the Platinum and 1794 models which averaged $53k-$56k for the 2018 models. Plus, Toyota has announced that their vehicles will cost much more for 2019 models due to trade tariffs. It shall certainly be interesting to see what the prices look like for all imports in the next year or so.
