2018 tundra price

This truck has the SR5 upgrade package which includes the 38 gallon tank, that description in the tab is based on standard SR5. The vin number indicates the upgrade package. Always important to view window stickers of trucks on these lots because descriptions can be general.

 

When I was shopping for my truck (I bought used) Capital Toyota in Salem said they were taking $5k off their new Tundras. Don’t know if that was universal to all trims or not, but still may be worth checking out. Also, when I bought a new Tacoma in 2015, Olympia Toyota beat the price of all the dealers that I was talking to around Portland and all it took was the exchange of a few emails.

 

And how do you know it

gotcha i don't live near by so i was just going off what the website said. So how could you tell that it had the sr5 upgrade by looking at the vin? Or did you do a vin search? does it have integrated navigation?

 

That sounds like a good thing my current truck is a 2015 Z/71 Silverado.

Dude, do your research. Two of us told you it has the larger tank. The TRD Offload package comes with the screen shot I posted above. Every TRD Offroad Tundra has the larger tank.

So you can see for yourself go to Toyota and build a Tundra with OFFroad package and where it says details off the Offload package click that and it will tell you wha is included.

 

Made the jump from a 2015 silverado just last week. Bought a 2018 CM SR5 with TRD Offroad package upgrade. MSRP was $46,500ish. Got the price down to $42,200. So I think you are in the ball park. Make the jump it is worth it!

 

I realized it has the larger gas tank after someone said it had the SR5 upgrade package. Does every TRD off road come with the SR5 upgrade package?

 

And just so you have your facts right it’s not the TRD off road package that includes the larger gas tank it’s the SR5 upgrade package that comes with it. Do your research.

 

Sorry for all the questions guys but one more for the guys with the 2018 sr5 do the headlights come on automatically now? Also is the 18 really worth money over say a used 16 or 17.

I was sure that I wanted a used 17 trd pro however once I started actually shopping to buy instead of window shopping online without intent to purchase I quickly realized that the 18 was the best buy for me.

The headlights can be put on auto or you can have them on/off.

 

I understand I have looked at a couple used tundras and new seems to be the best for the money for me. The first tundra I looked at was actually a white sport like yours and they look nice.

 

@jaredmillerdvm So did you try to build one like I said? If you try to build one and add the SR5 upgrade package and then try to add the TRD offload package it will delete the SR5 upgrade package. Yes I agree the SR5 upgrade package has the larger tank but the truck we are discussing above from Beaverton has the TRD Offload package which adds the larger fuel tank package but it is not called the SR5 upgrade package.

You said the truck did not have the larger tank. Once you see the TRD offload package just know it includes the larger tank. I am 99% sure it won't say on the sticker SR5 upgrade package because that is not the package this truck has, it has the TRD Offload package.

Initially I did until say it had a smaller tank until someone pointed out that it had the sr5 upgrade it just wasn’t listed on the website. I ran the vin through Toyota and it’s says it’s has the sr5 upgrade package. It’s a learning curve for me, my first toyota.

 

That's a good price on a platinum, 48k is pretty much where the price point has been recently

I bought my 2018 TRD Off Road/SR5 upgrade package through Gladstone. All communication through email and text only. They had the truck inside and ready to go. I walked in and picked it up with zero hassle for the exact price discussed. $39,980 out the door. You can do better than the "one price" dealerships with a little work.

If you can it is a steal. Tax alone is $3K range, plus fees you are closing in on almost $5K of cost. Means you got the truck for $43K, which is almost $4K under invoice. That would be a great deal!

 

Thanks very much - I was about to make an offer but now I am hearing about a new redesign in 2019. I know the TRD Pro line making a come back but if a redesign is introduced for the rest of the line up then i'd rather wait. If the news comes true then the prices of the 18's will start dropping almost immediately.

 

I bought my 17 when there were still 16;s on some lots. I got a better deal on a 17. I wouldn't expect prices to start dropping on 18's

A redesign isnt likely until 2020 or 2021. And you can bet the prices on the new gen will increase pretty good. Also if they switch the engine to a V6 TT, the V8 model will remain in demand to many people keeping prices up on those remaining trucks.

 

^^This is not an accurate statement. You can get a TRD OffRoad that just has the base SR5 trim with the front bench seat and 26.4 gallon tank.
