No problem. Like I said, I love my lights and the harness works flawlessly.

I was just being greedy lol

I consider my self a google master and no luck on cheaper units yet. more time that passes more wrecked sequoias will show up. keep an eye out on eBay and local craigslists and offer up style apps.

maybe a black friday or holiday sale at the retrofit source or something might come up.

I might have missed it in the 18 pages on this thread, but how hard is it to fix the broken tabs? I see more affordable lights on fleabay, but all of them have broken tabs...might be why they are cheaper! Anyone fixed them with good results for fit and alignment?

Rather easy if you have the proper plastic welding kit and the broken off tab. Without the broken off piece, it can prove to be challenging regarding proper alignment & fit.

Anyone interested in trading a driver's side Platinum with the chrome highlight for an SR5 etc with the black bits? Used but very good condition, one tab professionally repaired, all others intact and ready for install.

First off, thanks to Mike for making the harness to make this possible! I did option 2 with factory DRL. I just installed my 2018 Sequoia headlights in my 2012 DC Rock Warrior. Everything is working and they look AWESOME!!

I have a couple questions for everyone after the install. I tried to route the wire into the underhood fusebox but I could not get it into the hole where the big loom goes in with the tap on the wire. I have the lid off the fusebox and the wire going over the top for now with lid left off. Anyone know if the top(not the lid) of the fuse box comes off to make routing the wire into the box easier???? How did you run yours? Notch lid???I really want to get the fusebox lid back on.

What did you do with the unused plugs from the original harness? I think they were for the little push in type bulbs on the original headlights. I pulled the bulbs but do I need to do anything else to keep it from shorting out or anything? What did you guys do?

Thanks from a long time lurker and new guy. My wallet hates everytime I go onto Tundras.com LOL

I decided to take a chance on eBay from a source I've used before for parts. No restocking fees if I do not like the product. They say "1 remaining" for inventory but, as soon as I bought mine they restocked these again as 1 remaining. (Ordered my fillers from Sparks and my harness from xrunnerdude67.)

I thought I'd share the link for others if this turns out to be a good buy. Now I need to get some bulbs.

Here is for the RH side: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Headli...-Rh/264537939409?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144

Wow that is quite a good price. Let us know how they work out. No Bulbs, modules or ballasts though? How big an effort to track those down?

Screaming deal if they're indeed OEM. You don't need bulbs nor ballasts, they're not replaceable. All you need is the wiring harness, plug and play.

So nothing needs to be added to these at all? Guess that it's just cut and paste language? If so that is a good deal.

I saw these and thought the same thing, what a deal! I'll let you guys know how they are and if they look good.

They are usually 100% accurate with descriptions so the OEM should be accurate.

When I look at the larger image of the back side, I can read TOYOTA molded into the housing.

Headlights came in today... they are in perfect condition and honestly appear brand new. Packaged very well with enough stuffing in each box to make sure they came nowhere near the edge of the box and make contact. The tabs have foam in between the tab and headlight housing to ensure the tabs are not broken.

I just became interested in this swap for the second gen. Do the fenders or hood need to be swapped out to use the 2018 headlights or just the piece underneath the headlight? The 2018 sequoias are like the 2nd gen headlights and not the 3rd gen tundras? Thanks.

Thanks. For option three, just want to make sure I understand it right, when you turn on the parking lights, do the sequoia “rings” light up and then stay on without the headlights on? It was hard for me to tell in the video if the rings where only lighting when the headlights were on.

Yes, as soon as your turn on parking lights, they will be on.
