Thanks! Will save for future reference. My IBC is ok but I'm not very happy with how it works at low speed. May replace some day.

I'm working on installing a P3 now on my 2020 Tundra that had the IBC. I've pulled the pieces off on the passenger side kick plate and found that AJ6 connector you show here. I'm confident I found the right one because I checked for continuity from the blue brake wire just behind the harness on rear bumper to both the blue wire running in the back of AJ6 and the red wire coming out the front of it. I'm not great at this stuff so please forgive the dumb questions.

    - When you say connect the blue wire from P3 to the red wire at AJ6, do you mean cut the red wire and connect direct to the blue P3 wire? Or splice the blue P3 wire into the red wire?
    - You are also saying leave blue wire coming out the back of AJ6 disconnected correct?
    - So that red wire coming out of AJ6 goes to the 7 pin harness on rear bumper? I guess it goes through another junction box or something because the brake wire at the 7 pin harness is blue?

    Thanks!

Wow this seems overly complicated. No one had made a simple plug and play for the 2018 yet?
We had a wire pinched on our trailer which shorted out our brake controller and locked up the trailer brakes.
Got a warning on the dash about the trailer connection. Covered the wire and got it home but the controller is shot.
Thinking about just ordering another OEM controller. I had no issues until the grounded wire.
