    ***EDIT***

Starting to get a LOT of emails, so I figure I better update the OP in this thread for everyone to include all the information we have currently. Links to both headlights in the store are at the bottom of this post. It will take quite a while to receive them, so expect AT LEAST a few weeks if not longer (most likely longer). Also, no one has produced and started selling a working wire harness to convert your 2014-2017 style headlamps, but I will update this as soon as one is made. I will not have any affiliation with whomever produces this harness, and will assume no responsibility for anything to do with that part. Physically, the LED headlights appear to be the exact same as the older style as far as mounting them, so I don't think we will have any trouble there, BUT I won't know for 100% certain until someone bolts them up. Sorry, but it's the law student in me who has to speak in non-absolutes to cover my rear. :D

Got one side in over the weekend, so I took some shots to compare the new LED headlamps to the older style headlamps.

It looks like only the headlamp bulb wiring harness is going to have to be changed in some kind of way.

You are the man Roman! You know what we want and what we need haha!

Someone needs to create an adapter harness so there is a plug and play option and Roman can sell a lot of these babies.

I would assume, only assuming here, there will be input for DRL, low, and high beam in that harness. Tundras like my SR5 without OEM DRL's won't have a factory output for the DRL's so that harness would have to be a bit more custom.

Another big question. I'll have to wait until we get a new Tundra in to figure that one out.

@Roman can you get the female portion of the headlamp plug? If you can I'm sure @TundraTex can make us a harness! Hint hint! Looks very doable though. Just a matter of figuring out which pin is which on that connector. I'm excited lol.

Promising. I'll be interested to find out if that headlight ties into the CANBUS system of the 2018 model. If not, it'll be a lot easier to figure out how to make it work.

Will the leveling motor remain unaffected if swapping these becomes possible?

I looked into this a bit. The 2016 electrical wiring diagrams indicate effectivity for vehicles "before Aug. 2017 production". I havent seen the Late 2017 or 2018 diagrams yet, and I'm reading between the lines a little bit here, but I'm wondering if the late 2017 might be wired the same as the 2018 vehicles. Don't know that for sure though.

Switching control for the 3rd Gen. comes from the Main Body ECU to the Headlight relays. From there it's a straight shot to the headlight assemblies. I'm guessing again, but I think any LED driver circuitry would be contained within the headlight assembly rather than the harness. If my assumptions are true it should be fairly straightforward to create an adapter harness.

    We'll see...

Yep, all of the connectors look to be the same, except for the headlight beam itself, of course. I may be able to get the connector from the harness once the EWD for the 2018 becomes available. I'm surprised it isn't out yet, but Toyota recently changed our catalogs again to not include the 2018 parts, so that may have something to do with it.

I want one pair when every part needed for the change are available. I'm just wondering what are the tag price for this headlight assemblies so I could start saving some pennies for all of this. @Roman, please update us sooner.

They could use the same connectors and still be LEDs. Im guessing the headlamp connector is different because the LowBeam and High beam both need their own drivers with their own circuits - which means more pins. In the conventional headlight, the beam elements share a common ground so there are only 3 pins required.

It's hard to see in the pictures, but they do use normal bulbs for turn signal/clearance lights.
