I just ordered them as such, thank you @iHacker headlights should hopefully be in hand tomorrow, the harness in about 3-4 days. Im sure I will make the time to get them installed, I will post photos. The ambers seem to compliment the quicksand paint. :goingcrazy:

I like the amber DRLs during the day and don't care for the bright white strips on my 2014.
I wanted the dim white strips on with parking and headlights only.
@iHacker hooked me up with exactly what I wanted...

PS: I took your advice and zip tied the main plug - I think it’ll be a life saver down the road. Thanks so much, sir!

Hi @iHacker, I am ready to jump on the band wagon here :)...
I have 2014 1794 Crewmax. Can you PM me on options for mine please?
I would like to have it be as stock as possible, would that be the option with auto dimming? My truck has the DRL led strip at the bottom of the headlights. Thanks

@iHacker Been trying to keep up, not sure if I missed it. But does whatever the 18+ halogen headlight recall change affect the harness at all? Have you seen what's supposed to be changing? From what I understand is they were wired up for highs and lows to come on simultaneously, which works for LEDs, but not halogens. I assume the recall will make them come on separately, thus working incorrectly for the LEDs? I'm confused.

My harness still works after the recall fix, their patched harness keeps the same functionality and they rewired the main plug to keep the thin stock wiring safe.

So I see everyone on here is familiar with headlights so i'm posting my issue here because im lost! lol. I recently installed the Morimoto XB gen2 heads and new Morimoto tails in my 20 TRD Pro. for some reason my parking lights in my tails do not work. the turn signal and brake lights do work. I've been going back and fourth with Morimoto for a couple days now and they are telling me that a recall that yota did in my truck in 2020 corrected the brightness of my LED heads and because of that recall my tail parking lights do not work. They are telling me i need to UNDO the recall which is simple but im at a loss because i have no clue how a recall for my front turn signal harness would affect my tails parking light..... any input would be awesome! Ive checked all fuses and all connections multiple times and everything is good. So before i touch it i planned on unplugging my heads completely and seeing if the parking lights function. Unless someone has a better idea they wanna share! PLEASE! lol

If possible just rewire the pins in the Morimoto harness so the stock plug match the wires

Can you do the amber delete with a headlight revolution harness?(depinning gray wire) Or is the ihacker harness somehow different?

I have a 2020 Tundra CM, truck is still totally stock, and I am about to take it in to the dealer for the Headlight Recall work. Has anyone experienced any downside to getting Toyota's adapter harness installed, in terms of potential future Headlight upgrades? I do want to upgrade my Headlights at some point as the current illumination on dark roads is poor. Thanks.

The recall fix isn’t aesthetically appealing for some people but my harness still work after the fix no problem at all doing the recall.

Thanks so much for the reply and that information, I definitely don't want a dealer installed a birds nest. I guess this issue would be resolved if I upgraded to LED as they run so much cooler and the harness wouldn't be necessary? I will look to see if there are some good plugnplay solutions (instead of swapping out the lens, if I have to I will), anyone who has some solutions I would love to hear. Thanks!

Put the 2019 TRD pro headlights on yesterday. Used @iHacker harness and went with @1lowlife harness set-up. The harness quality & service are tier 1!

Has anyone put a protectant on the headlights to prevent/delay hazing? Any recommendations? Thanks

Just use whatever wax or sealant that you use on the paint.

So today I installed TRD Pro headlights on my '21 CrewMax SR5 with no issues at all (not someone who ever does this kind of thing) but I have two questions about the install:

    1. I marked the headlight height on the wall as recommended, the headlights are higher than the stock ones were. My problem is I can't seem to get at the plastic screw with the headlights installed (see thumbnails) as the screw on both sides is partially blocked by the metal chassis. Anything I tried to use to get in there at that angle felt like it'd start stripping the plastic. I can get the headlight level to what it was by dialing up to 4 in the cab adjustment toggle.

    2. Is the wiring OK just stuffed up against the battery like this? There was a clip holding the wires close to the stock headlights, but I couldn't find a hole on the TRD Pro ones to clip it into. So the cables are just pushed back behind the light assembly and up against the battery. Is this OK?
