Booya you had the cement with color matched grill and retro headlights. So what are the details on the color change surrounds behind the diffusers and the led strip on the low beam on your 18' HL?

I see what you are saying.
If you have a 2014-2017 tundra, you can retrofit the 2018+ led headlights (actual high and or low beams) with high quality HID or LED projectors like rx350 or similar, and not have any issues with error codes.
BUT if you have an 18+ tundra , you will get errors from the ecu when you retrofit the actual high and/or low beams with projectors? So with you having an 18, you've gone as far as you can go (so far anyway, until hopefully you figure out the error) with your headlight mods, which means you are forced to use the OEM high and low beam LEDs.(which to me are very good, but I bet coming from a high end HID projector retro is a step backwards).

what you did really bad ass with the rgb LEDs and additional led strip and halos. Nice work and I hope some day you can figure out the error codes. Your truck is so bad ass, the grill, lights, wheels, all of it.

Precisely 100% accurate my good man. Thanks for the words. We are all actively working on a fix. If anyone is interested - the guys at TRS will be doing an 18 Tundra soon. The FB group Headlight Junkies is the most active board on these kinds of things. Head on over there if anyone needs info...

Have any shots of the back part of the headlights when they were apart? I dig the new headlights, but toying with swapping rx350 projectors in them and 3d printing a bezel

Update on my headlight mod's, In CA we had a couple days of hard rains this last week with cold temps over night and warm days. The headlights are flawless, zero moisture or condensation. The Morimoto butyl rubber seems to have provided a good seal.

Next project is modifying the Eagle Eye tail lights to match my headlights....

Turned out awesome, great work. The headlights are the worst I've come across to work on, that perma seal it's a PITA....

Thank you for the compliment. I had never opened a set of perma-seal headlights before, it was a challenge but not as bad as I was expecting. Once the lens and housing were apart it was more just tedious to get the old perma-seal out of the channel groove. I would recommend the cold-glue tools and the expanding pliers. Also the Morimoto Butyl is an excellent product too reseal the lens and housing, I have zero moisture or condensation.
