Kicker amp and speakers. Not 100% sure about sound processor, but am pretty sure. Have been trying to keep factory head unit through the build, and have come to the conclusion that it is the weak link.

Have had random channel dropping issues after a couple different amps. Am going with new head unit to see if it fixes the issue. Frustrating, but have been driving my work truck almost exclusively the last few months anyhow. Then if going anywhere outside of work, we take the 4 Runner. So am content on waiting for the Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX, which is supposedly coming out in May.

Installer is a good friend with a very reputable shop, so I don’t pay much attention to what he does to it, just told him rough budget and to do his work.

I have a 2016 sequoia and 2018 tundra. Both platinum with JBL sound. The sequoia is way louder than the tundra. Sound is noticeably better.

Having same issue. Volume in 18 Plat is sad. Would replacing amp resolve, or are the JBL speakers garbage as well?
