Jeff, you seem to be the best one to answer this considering the amount of time you have spent on all these gauge clusters. Do the 2014-17 tundras and the 2018 Sequoia clusters appear to be the same size? I'm wondering if a 2014 tundra dash would fit behind the 2018 Sequoia bezel? If so that would Make the swap to the 2014 instruments almost plug and play with your wiring harness adapter.

No the 07-13 Tundra and 07-21 Sequoia seem to be the same. I have a guy with an 08 Tundra wanting to go with an 18 Sequoia cluster. It should bolt right in. Making it communicate is another story.

The 14-21 Tundra is a different shape, smaller in size.

18+ Sequoia is on top, 2007 Tundra is on bottom.IMG_7960.jpg

Is this something that has been pretty much perfected at this point or is this something that is still currently being ironed out.
I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra with 38 gallon tank non flex fuel CREW Max and was thinking about wanting to swap over to the newer gauge cluster as well. Wasn't sure if this is still in the process of work arounds and or process,
    Thank you.

This is all quite amazing! With that said, have you learned how to light up the original 2017 dash without the lights or park lights being turned on ? Thanks, Ben

Yes but it requires changes to the cluster firmware and programming inside the microcontroller of the Ecu. Very difficult to do the right way.
