With that information, when would be the best time to head into a dealer to get the best well...deal? I'm hoping to grab a 2018 White Platinum, two months ago I was told $53,500 out the door... that's with a 5k trade in. :( I found out a friend works at a local dealership and said I could probably get the Friends & Family Discount, can't find solid information on that pricing though, heard something about invoice pricing?

Depends on your timeline and whether they have the exact truck you want. If there's no immediate need, once the 19s are sitting right next to the 18s seems like a great time. I've no experience with the whole "I gotta guy" pricing. If that seems like the way to go then do it. I had the luxury of having literally 1000+ Tundras at three dozen dealers within a 200 mi radius of where I live (SoCal), so I could try different approaches at different dealerships.

IMO, Costco is decent pricing, but it helps as a starting point, as in, "That's the best you guys can do? Anyone with a Costco card can get that price."

In the end, I agree with R1-Super (above), get what you feel is a good deal and be done with it. Invariably there's gonna be some dude out there that makes you feel worse about your price so they can feel better about theirs. It's the best damn truck out there so you can't go wrong. If you can sleep at night without worrying about making the payment, then you're golden.

Your getting a better deal than I got. Mine listed for $47748. Dealer wouldn't go below IMG_20171207_190143888.jpg $45500

I live in Virginia, I paid 42500 OTD for mine. Mcgeorge toyota in Richmond. I thought it was a great deal and had other dealers willing to match. Super white crewmax!

There a lots of these sports on the lots in Virginia... most people buy the limited... edition, I just had to have the scoop to match my 4Runner, contrary to what people (Chevy and ford owners) say about the useless scoop , it makes horsepower! :benchpress:

I think dealers make their most money on packages + addons. Correct me if I am wrong that for that price that OP has I'd rather up my trim level and get my accessories later on for cheaper via group deal /season sale etc.

100% agree. Had a dealer in FL add pinstriping to a cement Tundra....OH THE HUMANITY! I told the salesman, “it isn’t 1996, not all cars are made for pinstriping and this includes a cement Tundra”.

Nice looking truck. It is a fair deal for sure. I paid a little over 41k before ttl for limited cm 4x4 that had window sticker at 49k. Glad I pulled the trigger as well and the shopping dealerships part is over, just have to restrain the mod bug for awhile.

Thanks, I ordered @dirtydeeds exhaust the night I got home from the dealership. I really want to swap out the wheels and tires for a set of SCS Ray10s and Nitto Ridge Grapplers but I'm gonna try to hold off.

I’m running the Flowmaster dual Outlaws on my CM and they aren’t very loud, contrary to what most people believe. The only time you’ll hear a midrange roar is whenever I jump on the accelerator. Cruising speed at between 25-30mph in my neighborhood has just a little more sound over stock.

Now, all the kids in the neighborhood have diesels, with oversized pipes.....everyone hates those trucks. Lol.

    OP black looks great.

white DOES have more towing capacity.

because it isn't saddled with the extra weight of clear coat over the paint.
