Good observations and seems like they are just not for you. I run them and have not had any problems. I run fast for me in the desert and they perform well. My fast may not be as fast as you but we all different. I am gonna add the secondary bypass up front also. When that happens I know for sure that pack not gonna keep up. So I am gonna go SUA with 3.0 bypasses in the rear to match the front.

are you going todo a bed cage or relocate the shock mounts and keep it under the bed? when you add the bypass upfront i would reccomend a revalve to a flutter stack in the coilover to really smooth it out over the washboard stuff...make sure to post updates!!

Little birdie told me about a company I am a fan of coming out with upper and lower control arms. So the new arms have been decided as long as I can get them within a month or so!

I’m not too worried. I gave my camburgs to a buddy and I’m too busy to wheel the next couple of weeks so rocking the stock uppers for the time being.

hopefully dirtking makes the stock lowers cheaper then total chaos..the stock length TC lowers are only a couple hundred shy of their long travel kit

Yeah, it's not the cost of the LT kit thats expensive, it's all the supporting mods required! haha

Yeah, with the price of OEM length lowers who's gonna buy 'em? I'm really interested to see what DK comes out with.
The LT would be amazing but it's definitely a trip down the rabbit hole once you start.
I'm enjoying reading this thread 'cause my rear travel is seriously limited right now.

That camburg kit that @zackbremer is running. No cut, and the #'s he pulled are solid. It would work well with the new setup you go with. Maybe throw some hydro bump kit with it too!

I'm curious about the flutter stack too. I wonder how it'd work (ADS) since I've removed the front sway and it's my DD.

You might have to call it in. They do have the Hydro kit. In the pictures you can see the relocate kit as well.

if you keep the 2.5s and add a bypass(secondary shock) @zackbremer recommend to get that re-valved to the flutter stack. It will work fine for the daily drive. It will work BETTER on the washboards! :mudding:

    one day...
It seems like everyone is staying 3.0 MT with secondaries instead of going a full LT setup. Cost wise I can see a win, but I always thought LT, spring under is Ideal for the piggies.

its addicting, people who havent gone fast just dont get it lol

camburg is terrible at updating the website, they have the mounts made and ready just call them..i spoke with carlos and scott

adding a flutter stack will be the same on any coilover, from what ive read its usally recommended in a coilover/bypass set up it basically makes the first 2inches or so super soft for fast low movement impacts ie teeth rattling washboard, but because of that softness u will go deeper into your suspension cycle more quickly...hence the recommendation for a bypass to help soak up some of that responsibility...im by no means an expert but this is what i have read and come to understand

def call camburg, a few companies are making the hydro bump kits..camburg, tc, the one in my pictures my fab guy built when he was installing the rear set up

uugghh if only the tundras werent so fat..the tundra bed overhangs in the fender wells, unlike the tacoma so the space to go up with the shock like that is limited. that said e a MT tundra is very close numbers wise to a 4x4 LT tacoma

front LT tacoma 14inches, im at 12.8
rear under bed tacoma 13inches, im at 14in under the bed, through the bed is 16in i believe on the tacoma...so jsut valve real stiff for the extra 2500lbs and youre good lmao
